May i know the response you get when you try to make call and may i know what response you get, when you try to call from other phone..

May i know the phone make and model number so we can help you exactly.
And is it a unlocked phone or newly bought phone..

This could be for many of # of reasons. All the way up to you have been temperately suspend on your account, you have ran out of minutes, or other reasons that is on your service provider side, and not your phone.

more then likely since you ave able to make the calls, and not receive them it is a service provider issue and not an issue with your phone.

we do not have access to your wireless account, or your service providers computers. its very important you just simply contact them and see if its not their system before trying to change settings on your phone that could cause damage, and/or further issues.

Sorry, their isn't much more we can do tell you have contacted them and asked them why its not working. again like i said above it very possible their is something wrong with their system, or your wirelss account we do not have access to that. Only you can give them your persoanl information to the account, and discuss your account with them to be sure that's not why. as well they can further assist you with your phone on any other trouble shooting issues.

    I'm sorry i read your first post wrong, i took the "not receiving calls/making calls" as you was making them just couldnt get them.

    again, you need to do the same thing above, we do not have access to your carrier account.

Will not call or recieve calls has new battery and sims, everything works but can't make calls or recieve calls.


Hi,

If the phone works fine as you said but cannot make calls or receive, this could be a network problem, you will need to contact your network service provider of the sim you are using, it could be that they are yet to activate the sim, giving them call to explain the problem will help to activate the sim. Try use a friend phone to call the customer care line to give the details of the problem, by so doing, they will help activate your sim so that you can make calls and receive calls.

You need to restore factory settings of your k800i .
your phone default code is 0000, go to setting then select restore setting or factory setting and enter code 0000 .

The LCD og my phone sony ericson w550i turning to white


When it shows white, can you recieve or make calls? If you can recieve or make calls, that means the fault is from the screen but if you cannot recieve or make call, it means its a software problem (virus).

For screen fault, the screen needs to be replaced.

But for software problem, you need to take the phone to a technician. The technician will use computer to flash the phone for you.

U may need to reformat it ie. Jailbreak and unlock. But thats if its out of warrantee,

I can recieve text messages, but i am unable to send text message


go to settings ---> call barring ---> then click on Data calls ----> cancel .

this should enable sms send and recieve.

Unable to make and recieve calls


I flashed and flexed the set but to no avail, tried a software update but no update was available from motorola. I then went to the Security settings of the set and restricted all outgoing calls and restricted all incoming calls except the phonebook entries. Then I dialed my mobile using a landline which was on my phonebook and my phone started recieving the calls, then after that I allowed all incoming and outgoing calls. This solved the problem. I believe it is sheer luck because I tried that step earlier on the same day but it gave no result.
