Question about IBM ThinkPad T41p Notebook
CPU fan, right? The fan is actually under the keyboard. There are 4 screws at the bottom of the case, labelled with a keyboard symbol. Once unscrewed, press the top of the keyboard (where the power/volume buttons are) downwards (i.e. in towards the palmrest) to free the keyboard. Then carefully disconnect keyboard connector. Once the keyboard has been removed, you should be able to remove the cpu heatsink. The fan is attached to the heatsink, to remove it just undo the screws holding it.
Hope this helps,
