Hi. Latitude C600 was introduced in ~2000. 700Mhz CPU was then upgraded to 850Mhz the same year and 1Ghz in 2001. The series was discontinued in 2002. Hope this helps, Raf

Does it seem like it powers up then shuts off? It may sound like the CD drive is running and the blue lights come on. Also if the Dell BIOS does not come on it is most likely the motherboard.
