Question about Acer Computers & Internet
There is a vertical column on the right-hand side of the screen of my brand new Acer Aspire 7535 which is coloured yellow. It seems as if the software does not recognise that the screen is 16:9 size? Any help how to get rid of the yellow shade very much appreciated. Regards, Marco Bianchi, London.

If you are confident enough to open screen bezel and take out screen , then the second strap from right of your screen has a bad connection. theses cannot be repaired but as a tempory measure some duct tape across the connections will cure it, else replace the screen.

SOURCE: Vertical Line on Lap Top
One or both of the following:
Your signal processor is failing OR the lcd display panel itself is failing. When one fails it's prudent to replace both.

Connect it to another screen using the vga connection, which is the blue connector on the laptop. If it comes up the same it could be your video card. If it is fine on the other screen then it is your LCD, which might cost you around 400$
