Question about Quasar VV-1302 13 in. TV/VCR Combo

1 Answer

Cable woes I hooked up my Quasar combo a few months ago, and it received all the channels. Then, I unplugged it for a while, hooked it back up, and suddenly I only got the first 30 channels or so. A while later, the other channels were available again, without doing anything. Then I unplugged it again for a while, and now I am back to just the first 30 channels. Each time I plug it back in after a while, it has to search for new channels. How can I get all the channels back?

Re: Cable woes

Get your remote, go to the TV menu and look for channel search or program, let the TV detect all channels.

you will have to do this if you unplug it or if the power goes out

hope this helps

I can't hook up my dvd player to my quasar model v v 1309 because we don't have a remote and can't change the input. The screen is blue and the channels change.

You should be able to change the input mode by changing the channel up or down past the regular channels (so channel down 3, 2, 1 > Line > 125 (if cable source) or 69 (TV source).

A replacement remote can be gotten from . With the remote, press Action and then enter the menu then choose Input Select and then choose Tuner or Line.

I hope this helps.

Quasar VV-1302: Cannot Program Cable Channels

If you let it autoprogram and all you get is channel 103. Move the TV back to the old connection and see if it autoprograms all the channels there. If that works ok then you have a problem with the cabe line that only has channel 103.

Set up for cable

You might be able to restore the factory settings by pressing "play" and "FF" simultaneously and hoding them down until the set shuts off (about 5 seconds). Then when you turn it back on it will lead you through the setup routine, which includes auto channel select.

Plan B would be to buy a universal remote.

Where do I have to go on the tv to see that my Dvd player is working?

Well. I finnally figured it out. All you need to do is hook in the cable and let the cable program set to the channels.

Quasar VV-2001 TV/VCR combo - msg: Check Antenna Cable Connection

Check first the antenna using another TV. If there is no other TV available, check using an ohmeter. If you are 100% sure tha the antenna is ok then the antenna connector on your Tv is not making a good connection to the antenna plug.

Can receive only channels 1 thru 27 although connected to cable with 70 channels.

First you need to check if your set is in the cable mode and not antena mode,if the set is in cable make sure is in the standard cable mode and not another type of cable like HRC,if it is change it and try the autoprogram to set the available channels.I hope it helps.
