Question about Samsung CLP-600N Laser Printer
I have a printer problem. I can not send a print job unless the Samsung printer has been turned on before the PC. The printer is installed as a network printer. New driver has been installed. It is not possible to print multiple copies of a document. The work around to geth multiple copies is to send 1xdocument to the printer several times. Does anyone have any idea about what this problem is all about ?
Possibly two problems here.
1) Printer on before PC to get a print - an IP address problem ??
Is the IP adress of the printer a STATIC address (usually works better and more reliably), or is obtaining its address from a DHCP server (typically a router, wireless router etc)
Doing an Information print (MENU, ENTER, ENTER) should tell you how the printer is set.
2) Unable to get multple copies.
Possibly a driver problem - get the first sorted out then see if it still does it.
