Question about Whirlpool MH7135XE Microwave Oven
Hello! The bulb in my Whirlpool microwave oven hood blew out. When I took the cover off to unsrew the bulb, all the bulb does is spin like the threads are stripped. But when I turn the other way, it tightens right back up. Am i trying to remove the bulb the wrong way, or did I mess up something? Thanks!
Be sure the oven is unplugged from the wall first.
In many cases, you have to break out the glass from the bulb and then use small needlenose pliers to unscrew the bulb base.
Once you get the lamps replaced, if they won't turn on or turn off, then you also have a damaged circuit board, which we regularly repair nationwide for $39.95 postpaid.
