DS Lite Will Not Power On

There is a possibility that your battery has developed a short circuit or is so bad that it pulls down the charge voltage on the charger. You are therefore left starved of a power and therefore no function.
If possible, disconnect the battery and run the DS on the charger power alone. If the DS starts to work, I suggest replacing the battery.

Since it was droped our Nintendo DS Light does not turn on. Yet the green light (the power indicater) blinks once. whene you charge it the charging light blinks. and that is about it.

your going to have to get a new ds probably. See if you can get it to power up with just the power adapter hooked up. If you can get video then hook up the battery and see if it charges it up properly and that the battery keeps its charge. If it can't then try another known good battery and see if it can charge and run off the battery. If it still can't then the motherboard may have been cracked when it was dropped.

Battery is fully charged but it still wont power up no lights when plugged in to charge

Hook up only the ac adapter to the DS to see if it turns on. If it does then we know the ac adapter works. We know the battery got fully charged but the system isn't turning on with the battery that is fully charged up.

I would say your battery is defective but you won't really know until you fully charge up a known good working battery and test it out.

Putin in charger orange light flashes then goes off an doesnt cha

Your DS is either fully charged or the battery got damaged/wet. When you play the DS, is the light red or flash red? If it does, then the problem is with your battery. http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/repair/dslite_repair_home.jsp
Click on your country, then "System and Game Problems," then "Power and Battery Charging Problems."
Hope this helped.

Nintendo DS does not turn on

Find a friend that has a DS and try using their battery and charger to troubleshoot your hardware. If your battery and charger work with another DS, then you may have a problem with your DS motherboard.

My assumption at this point is the battery.

Hello my Ds wont charge

Batteries lose their capability of holding a charge over a certain amount of time. Buy a new battery at
http://www.calcellular.com/ntd-ba-usg.html for ds lite
or
http://www.calcellular.com/ntd-ba-nds.html for ds.

Nintendo DS Will Not Charge

Try if the battery is charged right, when batter is fully charged disconnect from AC adapter. Hold the power button for 5 seconds. If it does not work that means that you need a replacement battery for the Nintendo DS. When you receive the replacement batter, follow the steps again.

Ds lite

You never want to play the DS while it's charging, if constsntly persisted it can cause a form of battery leak.

IMPORTANT: Don't charge the DS until it dies on you completely!

When charging the DS the system will display a red light to show it's at its lowest energy, the time it takes to fully charge a DS can take up to 2-3 hours. In the second hour of charging the light will appear green but you don't want to disturb it until the light goes off. ( showing it's energy is full )
