SOURCE: Hi, I have a JVC
remove rubber pladder and use a flat blade screwdriver to remove the clip "carefull it may take off on you" next slide off the pladder, remove the old belt. Now! take the new belt put it around the inner part of the pladder, next put the pladder partly back on the center spindle and rotate until one hole lines up with the motor, take a hook and slip it under belt now carefully stretch over to the motor put on and push pladder into place and rotate it by hand clockwise to make sure it is in place, next reseat rubber pladder back on and power up to make sure it is working before replace the clip.

Look at spindle bearing in center of t-table. There is probably a small ring lock there holding the table. Use a pick or small screw driver to carefully remove this ring.

SOURCE: drive belt on Sony turntable
Usually, for most turntables, the belt goes on the bottom of the
platter first. Then you put the platter back on the turntable. From
here you should see an opening on the platter where you can 'grab' the
belt. Pinch the belt, and then wrap it around the rotating motor's
shaft. This is usually at the top left side - around the 10 o'clock

above video should help. if your platter is "stuck" then call them for tips. also make sure it does NOT say "direct drive" on the front of the unit.
presuming you are talking about the SL-H350 as in the body not the SL-DZ1200 as in the title

above is a generic video that applies to almost all belt driven turntables including yours that will show how to install the belt and a few other things.
