The best thing to do is turn the power off ,remove the bottom drawer by pushing in the clips on side of the drawer ,just below the round plugs. The clips are attached to runners, push them back to release the drawer and ( after taking out the rack and spray arm) put the drawer on its r.h.side. Mop up the all water in the base, then remove the cover that goes over the back L.h. corner, this will expose the mains/flood switch board ( make sure you dry the roof of the drawer before you take the cover off , or water can drip onto the board .....not a good thing!!!my fisher and parkel dishwasher - yikes.gif).

To remove the cover, push in the clip in the middle front edge of the cover with a flat blade screwdriverand slide the cover foward a bit, then put the screwdriver under the clip and twist up, the cover should now pull off to the right. Spend a couple of minutes drying the board with a hair dryer and mop up any remaining water ( be careful of the board again). Refit the cover and switch back on ( you shouldn't need to force the cover on, just slide it on from right to left , but you may have to push down the cover just above the clip to get it to lock once it is located correctly). If it doesn't F1 again ,all good, if it does , remove cover and redry, and repeat until it doesn't.

To refit drawer, slide out L.h. rail and sit drawer on it, then lift right side of drawer and slide out other rail and sit other side down. If the rails don't want to slide foward and lock, lift the drawer at the front while sliding the rail fowarduntil the front edge of the rail is just at the clipping gap at the side of the drawer, then make sure the drawer is sitting down firmly on the rails and pull clips foward to lock. If the drawer has been clipped in correctly it will slide in and out nicely, if not , look at the back edge of the drawer when it is fully open to see where it is sitting too high and rectify by refitting the rail on the affected side/sides. By this point if any part of the bottom drawer was broken ,you would have seen it. Also check the top drawer by releasing it and pulling it foward, shine torch in and have a good look.

Hopefully it won't leak again unless ther is a faulty part not visible to the nakedshock.gif eye, check by running one drawer for a couple of minutes, stop the cycle and open the drawer and check the outsides for water ( don't be too worried if you see water in the bottom between the drawers as it will drip from the roof, unless the drain or fill hoses are split ) ,if ok, run the other drawer and check.

Remember, if you get to a point where you don't feel confident with what you doing or you think you might break something, leave it and call a professional to do the job, you may save money in the long run and if you going to expose wires or connections always switch off and unplug before removing the cover, you dont know whats undmy fisher and parkel dishwasher - xbones.gifg src="http://i.fixya.net/uploads/images/xbones.gif" alt="xbones.gif" class="h_mi" />.

Fisher & paykel fault "F1" is displayed on the top

hello
F1 means the flood sensor senses water at base of machine at PC board.
You need to take out bottom drawer and check for water puddle under where the drawer was.If there is water you can get the machine going again by comletely drying it out(F1WILL CLEAR),but it still means you have a leak. With bottom drawer out you can really see whats going on.Once F1 is clear you can actually run upper drawer and see if it leaks. Most likely culprit are the lid actuators.Replace all 4 . It'll run like new.Don't overload drawer .That can cause lid leak too. Also the PC board may be damaged and may start to go crazy giving fake F1 codes.$80 easy fix.
good luck

Hello, We have a Fisher & Paykel dishwasher m# dd602 znwn showing After we fixed a hole in the drain line an F1 code still appears and the pump keeps running. What should I do from here?

F1 means that your dishwashers have flooded. You can download the video in the link below to see how to get rid of the error and fix your dish drawer for numerous other problems. If your drawer is noisy you may want to replace the rotors at this time as well.

F1 in F&P 2 drawer dishwasher

You will need to be a bit more specific when you say "no flood".

Are you having this F1 fault in one or both drawers?

What did the engineer do when he was there last time?

Does the F1 code flash with beeps?

What happens when you turn the mains power off and on after a short delay?

Please provide the actual model number of your fisher and paykel 2 drawer dishwasher.

My fisher paykel nautlis dishwaher display error code F1

What is the Model #? If both drawers, if a double, display F1 and won't shut-up then the flood switch is tripped and you have to unplug it to keep it from beeping and the drain motor running. The causes for the F1 fault can be numerous but not excluding bad lid lifts, broken link support, cracked drain line and wrong soap. Call F/P

Fi code washer wont stop beeping

See this site for a full explanation of how to fix this problem, I don't want to type it alll again. F1 error code is 'overfill' most frequently due to a clogged drainhose. If not see here;

F1 Error code on fisher paykel softouch dishwasher

F1 means that water is in your basepan--- you can pull the bottom drawer out and soak up the water with a towel... you will have to use a hair dryer to dry underneath the control sensor in the back left corner.

My dishwasher keeps flashing F1 error message

The f1 code is caused moisture in the electronics part most likely in the door.see if there is any way that you can see where moisture might get in and plug that spot up. In the case of the f1 code when not using the dishwasher leave the door propped open to help dry out the electronics.
