My singer simple; the wheel is difficult to turn, the needle wont go up and down, the material wont feed

Sounds like you have a thread jam( bird's nest) inside your bobbin housing. Take the face plate off, remove the bobbin, and take the housing apart if you have to...then start all over with winding new thread on the bobbin and re threading the machine before you try sewing. Hope this helps!

Why doesn't it sew?

Check to see if the bobbin case is in correctly. Jamming occurs when something isn't in machine properly. Try taking out the needle & manually turning the hand wheel slowly. It could be just a bent needle too.

Motor runs machine jams, wheel hard to turn

Unless you are a qualified service technician, take it to a technician for repair. Trying something yourself may cause more harm.

Fly wheel won't turn

If all you get is a "whirring" sound when you try to run the machine, the belt most likely has slipped off the pully. You need take off the rear cover to get at the belt. Get a service manual that shows the bottom and rear Torx screws that have to be removed if you plan on fixing it yourself. If the hand wheel won't turn manually (or is difficult to turn), take it to a professional.

My Silver Crest 8750 sewing machine has jammed, i cant even turn the wheel, i have cleaned it out and lubricated like suggested in the manual, but still not working..... i have only used it about 10times....

did you try turning the machine off & on again to see if that clears it?
is the machine new or used? if it is used, was it bought used?
has the machine ever been serviced?

Needle doesn't move, the balance wheel is very hard to turn

Sounds like it is jammed with thread or fabic. Totally rethread your machine and clean out your bobbin area. Then try turning your wheel towards you. If, you do not have your manual to check, go to www.sewingmanuals.com and download one for $10. If that doesn't do it, all you can do is take it in for service.

Machine is jamming

You need to remove the bobbin from the "race" by following the instructions in the manual. Give it a good clean and remove any bits of fluff and thread. Remove the upper thread also andmake sure that the tension wheel is clear of any broken threads and is on the correct setting. It may have been threaded wrong. The hand wheel not turning sounds like the bobbin area is jammed also.
