Re: printing

I also have a similar problem: I just replaced the ink cartridges (and remembered to take the plastic off) but it won't print on my hp photo paper. It will print both color and black and white just fine on regular letter sized paper, but my 4x6 glossy paper comes out blank!

Re: printing

More information is needed here, but if you've just replaced the cartridge be sure you've removed the tape cover from the bottom of the it. That will keep ink from coming out. Been there, done that!

My PhotoSmart2710 takes like 10 minutes to startup and printing test page takes more than 1 hour.

Take a real close look at the entire paper path and be sure that there isn't a small piece of torn paper stuck in some obscure place.

Why my hp laserjet 1320 printer take gape of 5 second after a print

Most probably due to overheating. Or maybe it is placed jn a damp area. Or due to internal laser heating element which is responsible for drying out the printed ink. Or other reason can be your system printer settings. Try them restoring to default first.

Prints a line top and left

You may have to do a clean and wick on the cartridges. Please Follow the Below Steps:

Take 2 Paper Towels one should be Damped with Luke Warm Water and the other one should be Dry.

Take the Cartridges out of the Printer and on the bottom of the cartridges where you have the ink coming out of place the Damped Paper Towel on It and Remove it, Do the Same Procedure thrice.

Once thats done, Place the Dry Paper Towel in the same mentioned way. Try to Print.

Good Luck!!!!!!!

This printer does not double sided print. what can I do?

Print page 1 first and then place the page 1 back in the paper tray but the page must be turned upside down to print page 2. You need to test print a page to work out how to place the page correctly to get the print the right way around.
Repeat the process for page 3&4, 5&6 etc.
This is a slow process but OK for a few pages, but if you quire a few pages to do, then I would take it to a print shop.

Printing doesnt take place

Check in the different port. Install the drivers properly and uninstall and reinstall the drivers from the Website and also need to check the print spooler services for that type services.msc in RUN. And start the Print spooler services while choosing the Automatic option.

The printer will not let us print, says we need to replace the color toner, but we no longer want to use the color toner, does the cartridges for color have to be in before we can print

In short YES. Color cartridges have to be in place and have toner to allow Black printing to take place and vice versa. This is common practice for modern printers.

Started printing light / dark blue bands instead of same shade. Tried cleaning but no different. Thanks.

Do a proper head clean.

Remove the cartridges and put them aside.

Remove Print head taking care not to touch the metal parts.

Boil some water, pour one quarter inch of boiling water into saucer.

Place the part of the print head where the ink comes out in the water.

Give it a few seconds, you will see the ink coming out into the water.

Sit the print head on some paper towel with the part where the ink comes out on the towel and let the excess water be absorbed by towel..

Replace print head in printer, taking care not to touch the metal parts.

Place cartridges back in print head.

Do some test runs to check the condition of the head, you may have to do a head clean or two.....

If that doesn't work try a new blue cartridge.

Usually works on my machine.
