Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Cant get songs onto ipod shuffle.(daughter has ipod touch)

Hi there,
When you go into the ipod section on iTunes, click the music tab, make sure 'sync music' is checked and 'selected playlists:' is also, then check the playlist you want to use. Click 'sync' button

If that don't work go back to the summary tab and hit 'restore' and follow the instructions to reset the ipod, resync and all should be fine.

All the best

Ipod got wet wont hold a charge and wont switch to play list i accidentally left my ipod shuffle in my pocket and then it got wet in the washing machine it was in there for about 30 seconds please help

Hi,
You probably already have the answer to this, but if you send it to Apple, they may just give you a new iPod. If they even think that it got wet, though, they won't fix it. You will have to replace the battery. There are a number of places that will do that for you. I hopw that helps.

download itunes. plug in ipod. wait for it to load. then RESTORE it to factory setting, when prompted, enter your name and uncheck the automatically sync.....AND update. itunes is what you use to put music on your ipod. if your songs haven't already started to move over to itunes....click file, then add folder, and pick the folder that your music is in (usually MY MUSIC) if they are already mp3 format you wont have long to wait, but if they are not, you will need to wait for the songs to convert. once converted, you just simply choose your songs and drag them to your ipod. My apple iPod will not show up on itunes and i can't turn it on HELP!!!!

Sorry if I'm too obvious, but are you using iTunes?

Yes? Then check your iPod settings on iTunes:
If you want to just drag songs to the iPod you have to set it to "manually manage music" on the iPod "Summary" screen.
Otherwise you need to create playlists in iTunes and synchronise your iPod to those playlists (tick them in the "Music" tab.

Of course, if you already knew all this, sorry! Maybe you have a usb port problem (try restarting computer) or an iPod problem (try resetting your iPod). NOTE: with iPods, you MUST use iTunes to transfer music to iPod, and it is NOT possible to transfer music FROM you ipod TO your computer (say you've loaded songs from someone elses computer to your iPod and you want to put them onto your computer - no can do! Use a flash drive).
