My Satellite L505-S6946 web cam will not register the face recognition. It keeps telling me it cannot register or I can't even get to the part where the face comes up. When it finally does, I can't get it to even recognize my face. What can I do?

Clean the cd/dvd with a laser lens cleaning kit. If that doesn't fix it then the cd/dvd drive will need to be replaced.

blue screens are also known as bsod (blue screen of death) which means there is a critical problem and there can be various reasons for this.
judging by the rebooting cycle, i would think the system is overheating. does it feel very hot when its been on for a while?
if so the case will need to be opened and the heatsink removed from the processor. all the vents and fan should be cleaned of dust and thermal paste applied to the processor where the heatsink sits, before putting it back together.

try with an external monitor (connect an external via 15 pin's output of your laptop)
if it worked, monitor of your laptop is damaged and you can only take it to a guarantee center.
and if it doesn't work:
1- open back lid of laptop.
2- evolve the battery.
3- wait 15 minutes.
4- put the battery.
5- turn on the laptop.
and if it doesn't work, take take it to a guarantee center quickly.

Try pushing the FN button, next to the left CTRL button, and then hit the F5 key at the top. By the number of times you hit the F5 button, you are telling the computer to display on its lcd screen, on the monitor (TV), both, or neither.

Sounds like your hard drive died, or your operating system got wiped. A new hard drive should fix you up.

have u only used messenger to test your mic? try other applications like a voice recorder, and see if yer mic will pick up there. if it does, then mabey u have the wrong version of messenger like if u have 32 bit or 64 bit version of windows. if it doesnt work, then you have a driver error and u can go into start>control panel>device manager>and other computers are different, but i'd go into imaging devices cuz my cam and mic are a full set of drivers together but see if you have a microphone on there. if not, then look at wot u can see that has any possible relation to a microphone, and select "update driver software" and it'll go online for ya and see if the drivers are up to date. and if its not the driver, then its your mic itself, and hopefully your under warranty, or if not, then just pay some money and get it fixed.
