How do I get on facebook on a computer that blocked facebook

Why is the computer blocking FaceBook? Is it software some company or parent placed on the computer to prevent unauthorized use or visiting unapproved sites? If so, you will have to talk to whomever installed the software because it is likely you don't own that computer. It could also be the source of your internet connection that has firewall software blocking access to external sites. Or it could be your antivirus/firewall software on the computer doing the blocking. You need to be more specific on how you are accessing the internet (wired or wireless), what anti-virus or malware blocking software is installed on your computer, and what exactly you are trying to do before anyone can be of more help.

I can't watch certain movies or shows because of parental control

LEGAL WAY -
1.Get access to the administrator account.
2.To achieve this you can use either legit (ask for the password or removal of Parental Controls) or illegal methods (social engineering or hacking).
3. The legit way is more advisable as the person who imposed the Parental Control has done it in good concern for you.
4. You can start by understanding why they have imposed Parental Controls on your account. It can be because your children use Facebook too much. Or, were you neglecting your health, social circle or studies very much?
5. After understanding the root reason. Try to initiate a change in your behavior or at least show that you are changing. This might make them reconsider their actions.
6. It takes a lot of time & effort but its worth the wait.

What is FPA lock on mean

FPA locks the front buttons so children can not access programs without the remote. Use the remote to access the main menu then parental controls. On some models you might have to select special or chanell menu first. If FPA is on it will ask for a password. Turn off parental controls and all should work. This will require the original remote or a universal.

How do I turn on my MSI laptop, model #MS-16GN? It's my 13 year old daughter's and I need to monitor.

If you mean set up parental controls, you need to have an account on the laptop under your name with your own password (the next bit s taken directly from Microsoft)

Open Parental Controls by clicking the Start button 4f6cbd09-148c-4dd8-b1f2-48f232a2fd33.png, clicking Control Panel, and then, under User Accounts, clicking Set up Parental Controls.? 18abb370-ac1e-4b6b-b663-e028a75bf05b.png If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

Click the standard user account for which you want to set Parental Controls. (this will be your daughters account)

Under Parental Controls, click On.

Once you've turned on Parental Controls for your child's standard user account, you can adjust the individual settings that you want to control. You can control the following areas:
  1. Web restrictions. You can restrict the websites that children can visit, make sure children only visit age-appropriate websites, indicate whether you want to allow file downloads, and set up which content you want the content filters to block and allow. You can also block or allow specific websites. For more information, see Limit the content that children can view on the web.

Time limits. You can set time limits to control when children are allowed to log on to the computer. Time limits prevent children from logging on during the specified hours and, if they are already logged on, they will be automatically logged off. You can set different logon hours for every day of the week. For more information, see Control when children can use the computer.

  2. Games. You can control access to games, choose an age rating level, choose the types of content you want to block, and decide whether you want to allow or block unrated or specific games. For more information, see Specify which games children can play.

  3. Allow or block specific programs. You can prevent children from running programs that you don't want them to run. For more information, see Prevent children from using specific programs.

With XP, all you can do is set up content adviser, which is a bit limited
To do this: Control panel / Internet options / Content / Content Advisor / Then in the box that appears, set the level of safety

I WOULD LIKE TO BLOCK FACE BOOK ON MY COMPUTER

Use windows Parental Control.

Just type on the Start Menu.. Parental Control.

That will allows you to block access and control what is available to be seen or used by other accounts.

I will suggest if you have children, set up an account for each of them with restricted privileges and parental control on each of those users.

Parental controll will allow you to do that.

The other option is to use a firewall and add www.facebook.com on it. You will need to buy a programs which provide that option.

You can try Norton.

God Bless You.

Hope it helped.

We have no children. How do I eliminate parental controls?

If you are an admin, just go to the control panel and remove the software.

BTW: this software can not be setup for parental controls out of the box. SOMEONE had to set it up.

ie: go ask you mom and dad.
