My flash drive is messed up, I lost it's plastic cover that protects the inlet thingy, and it's been treated very brutally. Now it's not being detected anymore. Is there any way I can get the information back? There's 4 gig of important stuff saved in it. Please help me.

Files on a flash drive can be corrupted if it is not removed from the USB port properly.
Before removing the flash drive click on the Safely Remove Hardware icon and then click on the flash drive you want to remove and then remove the flash drive when the computer message says it is Safe to remove.
To restore the flash drive you may need to format the flash drive, but you will lose the data stored on the flash drive.
If you need the data on the flash drive this program may help: -

Dismantle philips tc722/A to repair cable rewind

Briefly, you don't remove the top section, rather you get at the cable drive / release through the cord feed hole.

To do this I use a couple of large flat bladed screwdrivers and get fairly brutal with them to lever out the plastic surround to the cable inlet. it's tough plastic so don't be afraid.

Once the plastic surround is out you can see a piece of black plastic and white plastic. The black should fit in the socket on the end of the white. That's it, just push the white plastic down and the black seats the socket. To test, press the release mechanism and you should see how the black pulls the white drum release back toward the rear of the machine.

once you have done it once it takes about 5 minutes.

How to write password my 16 gb pendrive flash drive

To password protect a USB flash drive the best way is to go for the encryption option so if its lost you are still protected has many are still accessible if lost.

http://www.truecrypt.org has the free software and instructions but you will have to copy your files to a pc first and then copy back when the drive is protected

Replacement of the Cover Inlet plate inside the microwave, this is part # 8184604. I have the part, I just need to know what to do to replace it. Thanks,

Hi

To locate the inlet cover, look towards the interior side of the microwave next to the microwave display. The inlet is typically located near the back of the microwave, in the middle of the wall.
Unplug your microwave from the electrical outlet and remove any food or containers.

Wipe the inlet cover, typically located on the right side of the microwave in the middle of the wall, with a damp cloth. The cover must be kept clean or it will not protect the microwave.

Dry the inlet cover with a soft towel.

Leave the microwave door open for several hours to air out the inlet cover.

Examine the inlet cover for wear and tear. If the cover has too much damage in the form of scratches or holes, it may need replacement.

Remove the inlet cover, if desired. Insert a putty knife under the plastic nail that holds the inlet cover in place. Pry out the nails and set them aside. Pull out the micro plate in front of the inlet and set it aside. Remove the inlet plate.

Install a new inlet plate. Slide the new inlet cover into its place. Replace the nails back into the side of the microwave by aligning them with the holes of the side.

How to remove write protect on my usb flash drive

If you have a write-protected flash drive that you need to access, it can be difficult to change it to allow you access, especially if it is a security-optimized flash drive. However, there are a few practical steps you can take to change the write-protection on a flash drive.

#1

Check for a write-protection switch. This switch, when engaged, will lock the contents of the flash drive and is a very common security feature. It is generally located on the side of the flash drive, and has an "enabled" or "on" position, and an "off" position. Slide this into the "off" position.

#2

Override password security. If your flash drive has password security, but you have forgotten the code, you can try to override the security feature by going to the Start menu and selecting "Run." A dialogue box will pop up, into which you should type in the path to the file on the USB drive you want to access. Note: This only works on USB drives with very simple security. If the security is complex, this will not work.

#3

Format the flash drive. If nothing else works, you can always format your USB flash drive, which will set all your write protections back to default. From there, you can customize them however you want, but all your data will be lost. To format the flash drive, go to the My Computer, right-click your drive and select "Format." A status bar will pop up. Once the status bar disappears, you can change the write-protection settings on your flash drive without incident.

Hope this might help

Thanks
