Question about HP Pavilion dv6000z Notebook
The backlight on the LCD may be going out. This model range of laptops were notorious for this issue. HP has an active extended warranty recall out for them so you better get it in to them so they can fix it for free while you can. If you don't want to send it in, you may consider getting an external monitor.
