if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound,video and game controllers you might see a yellow question exclamation mark? ! or a red X Right click to reinstall drivers

Unsure of graphics card.


Seems you have a problem with the video device. Make sure you have the right driver for it and then try reinstalling that video driver.

I have properly installed new DVD/CD/ROM but I get a code 10


Is it a SATA (narrow connecting cable) or PATA (wide cable)?

If PATA make sur you have set jumprs correctly, Master or slave.

Start, Run, Regedit then navigate to

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

expand the first folder and remove all sub folders

Reboot.. Enjoy !

Go to the device manager. uninstall the dvd drive .restart computer after turning the power off. re-install the device from add hardware wizard.restart computer.this may solve the problem.

DVD driver fault - Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-212 ATA.. maybe NERO 8 fault?


Code 10 means the driver cannot load usually due to being incompatible with the OS type.
