Razr V3m trans flash card problem

Here's what you do;
go back to the store, smack the clerk upside the head for giving you bad advice, and trade the 4gb for a 2gb.. (or the razr for another phone). The V3m doesn't support SDHC cards; only SD ones. SD are 2gb and below, while the HC (high capacity) are 4gb and up.
Sucks, doesn't it..

The razor only supports upto a 2 gig sd card.

u hve many options..

1. use ur bluetooth to transfer files from ur fon to ur computer if ur computer has a bluetooth..
2.if ur fon has a memory card,insert it 2d card reader of ur computer so that u can transfer ur files from ur fon 2 ur pc
3.simply use the cable,usb cable that connects ur pc and fon BUT u nid 2 install the driver first so that ur fun can be recognized ny ur pc..

soda monster, first of all wuz up man? the answer is yes, i had a razor v3i pretty much same thing to urs, and i installed a 2gb micro sd and it worked, and later i replaced it with a 4 gb card and it worked too. but sometimes when u have to many songs and pictures the phone will become slow and at times freezes ur phone too much, u will have to remove the battery and turn it back on, thats the only bad part , so a 2gb micro sd is recommended.

Actually, Im having the same problem. However I can get the SD to work, sometimes. What i do is, with the battery removed, insert the card, of the left side of the card there is a little tab to act as a lock, slide the card to the left, then pull up until the card gets caught on the little lock bar. reinsert your battery, and power on. it may work for you, it may not. That is what I do to get it to work for me. The v3m is the worst model of the Razr I think. not to mention I cannot get it to connect to Bitpim, or P2K. Its junk... hope this works for you.

I was having same problem with a 4 yr old digital camera. Apparently, it only recognizes up to 512 MB, and the card needs to be partitioned into 4 parts.

If you are in your pictures or ringtones and you want to get to your memory card, go to options and switch storage device to Trans-T-Flash. If you are wanting to check the memory on your card, go to Settings, Phone status, Storage Devices and it will show the memory on your card and on your phone.

younigleigh: To access your card you have to change the Storage Device. For example if you want to access your RINGTONES or SOUNDS, do as follows: 1. Go to MY STUFF menu by pressing the CIRCLED button betten the GREEN (SEND CALL) and the RED (ON/OFF) buttons. 2. Select for example SOUNDS. 3. Hit the middle multiple bar between the BACK and GO TO options on screen (SOUNDS MENU). 4. Select SWITCH STORAGE DEVICE and select the CARD option. You're now accessing and STORING data on your MEMORY CARD. SithPitt
