Question about LG Vu CU920 Cellular Phone
OK ...I didnt understood exactly if you are talking about the internal speaker of the phone ...or a headset ...and I will refer for both ...
first ...in both cases . a quick fix will be a blue tooth based head set that will make your phone usable even if the internal speaker is dead....cause it has another route on the sound out ...and its connections will be on the blue tooth level... and the one I listed is not that expensive ..
on the second matter ...the one with the internal speaker...( ear speaker as you referred) is just a mini speaker....in theory any cell phone speaker that will fit into place will do the job if it is in the parameters ...so ...another LG part will do just fine ...if it is on dimensions ..
for that you wil have to open it ..and replace ...its not that complicated ..but there are a few things very sensitive and better done by professionals...but ..
first thing to know is that you have to get in the place where the speaker is located ..with no damages...so....when you unscrew and open the parts first thing is to be careful you do not have any wires that are connected in both sides...and in my opinion ...group the parts and screws you remove in such a way to do not forget anything when you put them back ......than ...to get to the speaker ...you have to do it from the back side...and remove the battery ...and sim car d...than unscrew all the screws ..and see that the parts are hoold together by a click sistem and be careful not to force them too much ...
after removing the sides in two ...you have to remove the main board ...and the lcd...cause the speaker is located on the front part ...
another thing to keep in ming is that the speaker can as well be just fine ...but a wire with a dead contact or so ...cause ..there are really not many things tha can be broken on a thing like that ...but ...assuming that it is ...in general almost any LG speaker from the same family will fit...or one from a LG phone with similar dimensions ...
I will atach here some ilustrated indications to make an idea for you ...but I didn't found any for the exact model ...this are for elder models ..but in general will make an idea for you about how to get to places..and where the screws are located...and how to handle the lcd..
so ...I place here a link to a several LG phones pictures...about how to get them appart ...you will find similarities for sure ..cause they are the same in base...
