Question about Nikon Coolpix 5700 Digital Camera
Try a new card and test it. A card can go bad, not often, but it has happened to me.
Also this camera uses compactflash. The pins could be bent, causing errors.
If you try another card, and still cannot read or write to it, then the camera needs repairs.
Another option would be to sell it on a site such as
Ebay for parts, as is.
