Being that the game is on the cell phone memory not the external memory... be very cautions on deleting...go to the game it self and go to options (you can delete from cell) before starting

I have a i9phone from china and I dont have java.. I cant play any games without it.. I have no java applications or anything.. I need a step by step process how to fix this problem please

Probably you have a phone operating system without JAVA. It is possible because people can change I9/I9+++ operating system by another. One possible to download in net is without JAVA, so there are no chineese games and dialers. But in factory operating system JAVA works and there is JAVA icon. It gets .jar apps installation and some JAVA regulations. One way to return JAVA in phone is to change operating system using MTK tools and special cable (not that used to normal downloading to phone). It is difficult procedure not quite described in net. But... I9/I9+++ has slow , about 50MHz processor and only simple JAVA applications works well. Do not expect to GAMELOFT games work slightly. For instance java pdfviewer load one page about 2-5 minutes.

I Have an Cect I9+ phone and i was wondering if i can put apps on it or not. i put it in to itunes but it came up with nothing. i downloaded some apps from itunes but nothing happened when i put them on...

The CECT I9 uses java, not the Iphone's os. You can put apps on it, but you will need to find "touchscreen java me" applications. When you plug your I9 it will show up with two external filesystem icons. You will just need to drag the .JAR files on to the external file system icon. MAKE SURE YOUR PHONE IS OFF WHEN YOU CONNECT IT TO THE COMPUTER. Then eject those two external filesystem icons. (external hdd icons in windows and mac) and go to the documents icon in the phone. Find the .JAR file and click it, then click option 1 which is install. After that you will be asked where to put the program either on the phone or your memory card. I suggest putting it on the memory card, because these phones don't have much space. Then you can access the program through the JAVA Icon on your phones desktop.

You don´t need to install java. It is already installed.
Just put Java applications (jar files) into the Java folder and run them by double clicking.

I NEED HELP REPAIRING MY I9 SCREEN

There are basically two ways to do this. You can get online to the Java website via your WAP browser and enter in the code for the CECT installation ((wap.GetJar.com and then quick the download code 30827.) I usually download via USB though as this puts a copy onto my computer (in case it accidentally gets deleted) and it doesn?t cost any money or data to do this. For the Java installation, go to the get jar website. Make sure that you have the device set to CECT A100 (the CECT default.) Connect the phone to the computer via USB. Hit the mass storage icon on the phone. Click on the jar file that you want to download. Click save. Next, find the drive that your phone is listed under. (For me, this is K:/, but it may be something different in your case.) Click OK. Then, unhook the phone from the USB. Go into the document icon on the phone. Find the received file and then scroll down until you see the browser and click it. Then click ?install.? Now, you?ll go into Java icon. You?ll see the browser in the list of Java files. Then click launch. Opera should launch and you can start browsing. Most often, when something goes wrong here, it?s because the data, WAP or Java settings aren?t correct. You?ll need to go in and set them up depending upon your carrier. For example, if you use T Mobile, you?ll need to input the T Mobile WAP, port, and data settings. Typically, you set the data first, then the GPRS, the WAP, and the MMS. Finally, go into the JAVA settings and make sure that T Mobile (or AT&T, or which ever carrier that you are using) is reflected. There are many resources that will give you the Internet settings for almost every applicable carrier that you can think of. If for some reason you can?t get online, I?d check to make sure the phone isn?t set to the original Chinese or factory settings. Dont know which java to dawnload and how to do it.

http://www.i9forum.co.uk/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=1175
Link to Java
I am runnin I9 firmware on my I68, but it should be the same.
Firstly connect your i9 to your PC via the USB cable.
The i9 will then ask how you want it to connect to the PC.
You need to select “Mass Storage”.
Once this has been done the i9 will appear as 2 new drives in explorer.
One drive will be around 2MB in size. This is the i9’s internal memory.
The second drive will be the MicroSD card.

All you do is copy the Java (jar/jad) file(s) into ANY folder you want on
the MicroSD card. You DO NOT extract a jad/jar file, you have to move the whole
file as it is, so DO NOT use a compression utility program like Winzip or Winrar
on these files to extract their contents, just use File Explorer to move the ENTIRE jar/jad file as
a single complete file! If you do try extract the contents of a ".jar" file, all you will get is a list of files that you
will not be able to do anything with, so DO NOT try to extract a file with the ".jar" extension!
Next, you then need to unplug the i9 from the USB cable & the computer.
Then from the main menu of the i9 go into the “Documents” menu or "File manager".
Navigate to the folder where you copied the Java jar/jad files.
Select the Java jar/jad file you want to install & select “options”.
When the options screen appears, you just select “install”.
If the program has both jad & jar files for it, use the JAD file for the install
but make sure to have both the jad & jar together in the same i9 install folder.
The Java program will then begin to install & will usually ask where you want the program installed.
Just select your MicroSD card & that’s it. After first installing the game the phone will prompt
you if you want to run the program now. If you choose No you will be taken back to the File
Manager to continue, if you choose Yes, then the program or game will try to run immediately.
When you want to run the Java program at any time after the install, go to the Main menu &
select the Java icon. Your program will be there.

If you navigate to the folder on your i9 phone using the File manager & you select one of the
newly transferred jar or jad files, & you do not get the "Install" option to show up as one of
the options (you may see the options forward, delete, copy, & others), then the file could be
corrupt, is not actually a jad or jar Java install file, or you have a version phone which just
does not allow Java programs to be user installed. Many members have made this mistake,
where they purchased a phone with Java games installed on the phone, but the phone version
just won't allow new Java programs to be installed because there isn't an option to install any.
If that is the case, then this can't be changed, as it just isn't an available option for the phone
or it's firmware. The only remedy for you would be to find a firmware which has an installable
Java menu option that would work on your particular version phone. Don't ask for one to be supplied,
because if it isn't already in the MASTER Download List linked earlier or in the Firmware Collection
sticky thread in the Firmware section of the forum, then we just don't have one to offer you.

If you are getting "out of memory" or "memory filled" when transferring files to the phone, please make
100% certain you are looking at the correct newly connected i9 drives which should have come up when
you plugged the phone into the computer & chose "mass storage" device on the phone, & you are
not incorrectly trying to move files to another drive on your system like those that would show up if
you have a USB card reader connected to the PC, an internal card reader, or even a printer which has a
built-in card reader, as they all get drive letters too. Make sure you have the right drives of the phone!
This error can also come up if you are trying to transfer the files to the phones internal memory instead
of transferring it to the MicroSD card.

Free games for i9 phones

The CECT i9 and i68+ have JAVA. Unfortunately, most of the free JAVA games out there, are designed for keypad input. You will have to look for specifically "touch screen" apps and games. And among those, not all of them will work. I am afraid it's going to be "trial and error" for a while.

As for HOW to load the JAVA apps and games on your CECT i9, here's how:

On your computer, with the i9 plugged in with the USB cable, drag the JAR or JAD files into the "RECEIVED" folder. After you're finished with everything you want to add, disconnect the i9. Touch your DOCUMENTS button, then "memory card," then "received," you will see your JAR/JAD files listed. Touch the file you want to install. The next screen, choose INSTALL. It will bring you back to the menu choices of "phone" or "memory card." Choose PHONE and select YES. It should give you a message when it has successfully installed. Then exit out to the main screen, touch the JAVA button. Select "Installed Java Software" and you should be able to use your newly installed JAVA apps and games.

Hope that helps.

I'm sorry to say that that guy is wrong because the CECT i9 does have java depending on who you purchase it from. If you want proof go on youtube and look at some videos of people actually downloading java games to their phone.
