Yes. its the horizontal linearity coil resonating. take off back. and while unit is on, take a plastic straw and push on coils in the high voltage area. you will find one that squeals when pushed on, or will stop squealing when pushed on. solder that coil and area. that will fix 80 percent of the time. if you push on it and the squeal tone changes, solder it and silicone it done. fixed.
it is not the little board on the back of the picture tube. it is the big board on bottom of set. the coils will be in the area by the big transformer where the big red wire(anode lead) goes to the picture tube. just start pushing stuff around and you will find it. it might even fix it by just moving stuff.

Where may this coil be located and what does it look like? Is is on the board on the bottom of the TV or on the board attached to the back of the tube? After I removed the case/back the TV hasn't squealed but I know once I put the case back on it will start again.
After over an hour of pushing on every part in the set I never did find any coil that stop squealing or that started squealing once I pushed on it. But, I must say now that I have the back off and have pushed on everything the TV now takes about an hour before it starts to squeal and once again just turning the set on and off again stops the squeal for a longer time. Any other suggestions on finding which part is my 'monster'?!?!
