My phone doesn't ring

Indicator Lights:
1.Headset Status Headset Indicator Light
2.Powering on Steady blue, then intermittent flashes
(changes to standby mode)
3.Powering off Red appears and goes off
4.Standby Blue intermittent flashes
5.Charging battery Red solid light. Light indicator turns off when
battery is fully charged and headset is off.
6.Low battery Triple red flashes
7.Pairing mode Blue/red alternating flashes
8.Missed call Purple flashes. Press the call control button
to cancel flashing light.
9.Incoming call Triple blue flashes when ringing.
Power on and off:
1.Turn on the headset Press and hold the call control button until the
indicator glows blue. You will hear ascending
tones.
2.Turn off the headset Press and hold the call control button until the
indicator glows red. You will hear descending
tones. When power is off, indicator stays off.
If none of this is helpful then it may be that your battery is dead, if that is the case then you will need to replace the whole headset. The battery's are not replaceable.

To answer a call, Briefly press the call control button.

When you receive a call, your phone may ring before your headset rings. Wait until you hear the ring in your headset before you press the call control button to answer the call.

Which means what? You have a solid red light on the line or you don't have the line at all. A TDA system rings by a process called ICD groups. You can have a phone in an ICD (600 by default) and tell it the number of rings to delay, not ring, or immediate ring, but that means that the line button will flash as the call is coming in. If you don't assign it to a group, it's really stupid and won't do anything but light solid red.

If you have access to installer programming, you assign the extension to the main ICD. If you don't you have to call your Panasonic installer or dealer.

1 Red Ring = Serious Hardware Failure
I f your XBOX 360 has a 1 red flashing light error, you're more than likely in big trouble. The 1 flashing red ring of light can be due to GPU or CPU failure, RAM overheating, a DVD drive error, or some serious problem with your Xbox 360's internal components. The most common 1 flashing red ring lights error is the E74 error. The E74 error is no easy fix for the Xbox 360 and usually has to be repaired by the manufacturer [though some have managed to repair it with the heat gun trick - but be careful]

2 Red Rings = Overheating
Mostly all red flashing lights on the Xbox 360 rings are due to overheating in some way or other, but the 2 red rings singles out overheating as the main issue. When doing the X-Clamp fix the 2 red rings are required to fix the Xbox 360 by overheating the CPU. If you get this Xbox 360 error without doing the X-Clamp fix, you probably just need to let your Xbox 360 cool down for a few hours. Make sure that all vents aren't blocked off and that your Xbox fans are working properly in order to repair this problem.

3 Red Rings = Basic Hardware Failure
The most common error on the Xbox 360 is the 3 red rings - also known as the Red Rings of Death (RRoD). This flashing lights problem is the main cause of Xbox 360's 54.2% failure rate. The 3 red flashing lights can be due to lots of different errors but is mainly due to the X-Clamps in your Xbox 360 and overheating. Fortunately, lots of people were able to fix this issue using the X-Clamp and heat gun fix. Follow this list of error codes to find out the real issue with the 3 red rings because there are quite a few of them.

Here's how to program line ringing:

• go to the voice terminal whose line ringing you want to program

• slide T/P switch toward you

• touch a line button (note red lights)

• touch the button again until correct code appears:

RED ON = Ring

RED FLASH = Delayed Ring

RED OFF = No Ring

• repeat this procedure for each line

• return T/P switch to center position.

Red lights is normally the red light of doom, you will need to send it in to get it fixed or you can fix it yourself using a good guide to fix it and stop the heat build up.

The specific type of hardware failure can be determined by a "hidden" error code
Turn the xbox 360 on, and wait till the 3 red lights are flashing.
Press and hold the sync up button (the small white one), while holding that button press the eject button.
The LEDs will now blink the first number in the code (as described below).
Release the eject button and press it again.
The LEDs will now blink the second number of the code.
Release the eject button and press it again.
The LEDs will now blink the third number of the code.
Release the eject button and press it again.
The LEDs will now blink the forth number of the code.
Release the eject button and press it again.
The LEDs will go back to the 3 red flashing lights.
You should be able to determine the difference between the 3 flashing lights and the error code lights by the rate in which they flash.
Here is how you interpret the LEDs to get the code number:
All four lights flashing - 0
One light flashing - 1
Two Lights flashing - 2
Three lights flashing - 3

Im sorry to hear and tell you this...

You must know that that is a issue called the Red Ring of Death and is only fixed getting it sent into Microsoft. If it is no more than 2 to 3 years old you will be able to have it fixed for free.

You can, but you may not like it much.

It will take at least one button and I'd use two, or you can dial a couple of codes.. Start with turning on all ringers. Now, when a call comes in, it should tell you what's ringing. We use the x00 numbers, and the system uses IIRC 6xx numbers by default. Or, * works nicely. Dial *7360* on the intercom and you will log that phone out of all groups, or replace the second * with the extension number of the group. In passing *7361(group or *) logs it back in. You can also pick a button and turn on the Log-In feature (PROG 55* ENTER) gets them all.

Now, here's the fun part. When you press that button, it will either be lit or dark. If it's lit, you are logged OUT and your phone won't ring, even if it's programmed to ring. That's good. The bad is that the line light will not let you pick up a ringing call. You have to use the Pickup codes like *4001 for group 1. If you've just dialed the *736 code, you're on your own, because there's no visual indicator.
Also by the above, if EVERYONE logs out...We can tell it in software to not let everyone log out, but your bad luck is that last logged in phone may be the shipping dock that only they can hear.

Of course, pressing the Log In/Out button again will make the light go dark and it will ring like it did before you logged out. A couple words of caution, because it's a great way to drive your installer nuts if you call him out to repair a "no ring." If you screw with the buttons and take the feature out, make sure that you log back into the group BEFORE you delete the button :-) If you happen to program a button, log out, and then delete the button, the TDA will do exactly that! Of course you, or your service tech can just simply clear the extension (*790) and everything drops.

There is a system programming way to make the phone not ring but flash the lights always, that's ICD with no ring or delayed rings of 1-6.

Play with the options if you like. Remember you can't really screw it up too badly since the *790 will undo anything you do...and clear all your forwards.

The programs involved with you ringing are 81 ( no light or Day Mode ), 84 ( blinking red light or Day 2 Mode ), and 87 ( solid red light or Night Mode ). To change the ringing assignments you need to know the port numbers of the phones you want to ring or not ring. You can do this by pressing DN/ICM dialing # 4 0 2 at each phone, the diaplay will show the physical and logical port numbers. These numbers will be used to turn on or off the aaociated lamps within the above programs. Do you have anyone on staff that understands the system programming ? Let me know ...Mike
