My dishwasher is not draining, everything is cleaned according to the user manual. The dishwasher is 4 years old, used once every day. No abnormal noises. What next?

If your piping is clean, your pump is maybe burn, or maybe a blown fuse, also check for lose connections

Hi we have a Kenmore Dishwasher Model # 13744K and it won't turn on. It has water in the bottom that won't drain. Please advise. Thanks. John Webster.

For a dishwasher that was rated pretty high by Consumer Reports, it does not clean very well. In addition, the plastic control button cracked in less than a year and I must constantly clean around the inside of the door ... and I never received my rebate.
Despite those issues, it has been a workhorse. My wife is a daycare provider and the machine is used twice a day (on average) and still runs well. On a monthly basis, I alternate a pint of lemon juice and a pint of vinegar to keep it clean and once per year I use a granulated dishwasher cleaner.

either you have a plugged drain or drain filter or the water may not be hot enough in the washer. If you still have a copy of the owners manual it will also give you further solutions to this problem. If you do not have the owners manual go to the mfgr's website and download copy or call cust service...

After 6 years of once-a-day family use my AEG OKO_FAVORIT 6281i dishwasher starts up OK but a few minutes into the cycle begins flashing error code 20. At this stage there's a litre or two of cloudy water...

The easiest way to empty the dishwasher would be to use a small container and empty most of the grubby water. Then take a towel or two and dry it out.

Now about the error code - does it come back when you turn the power off and on again?

BUZZING SOUND WHEN RUNNING

It sounds as if there is something in the bottom part of the dishwasher arm (it sprays the water around the bottom of the dishwasher). I would suggest that you take out the baskets and then remove and clean all of the parts that water comes out of as well as the bottom drain. If this works or does not, I would also suggest that you run an empty load using 1/4 cup vinegar. Hope this helps!

Whirlpool dishwasher first 5 years ok last year thermal fuse - again last week - 4 cycles later - at rinse leaves water in bottom but dishes are cleaqn Rob

Your drain is gummed up and it may be the hose too. First remove the trays. Then, clean out everything from the bottom of the inside dishwasher pan. Also clear the drain hole in it. BE CAREFUL THAT YOU DO NOT CUT YOUR SELF ON ANY BROKEN GLASS THAT MAY BE IN THE BOTTOM. Next, go under your sink (or where ever the hose hooks your dishwasher into your drain) remove the hose and clean around both sides of the connections (be sure to replace it exactly how it was to prevent leaks-also check for leaks during and after your first test run). Lastly, run the washer empty using only 1/4 of vinegar. Hope this helps!
