On page 24 in 'Advanced Mode', it tells you how to re-set to factory settings, and that will probably include zeroing the lamp hours.
If not, there seems to be nothing else there.

According to the manual, you need access to the RESET button, the left and right arrows and the ENTER button to clear the counter. Press the following in order for less than 5 seconds each:
RESET
Left Arror
Right Arrow
ENTER
The above sequence should clear the counter.

As you replace the lamp and reset the timer it should work.But if its not working then there are few reasons.The lamp door switch/lever is not closed properly or its loose.Check that.If its ok,then other possibility,the replacement lamp is working but its not compatible to your tv.On some tv models they dont detect compatible lamps.They see only original lamp.If that is not the cases then other possibility is that the lamp is faulty.
