Question about Ricoh Office Equipment & Supplies
First try to reset an
error on Ricohs... Just enter Service Mode (Yellow Key, 1, 0, 7, Hold
Stop Key until it gets into Service Mode), then Power off, wait 10 sec
and Power on. If that does not work do this
Press clear (yellow button) followed by 1, 0, 7 then hold down the stop (orange button) till it enters service mode. Press on 'Copy SP' then key in '5810' and press '#' and then press on 'excute' to reset the service code. Then just turn the machine off then on.The problem may come back and if it does there is a problem with the thermistor. There is an update for the firmware for sc541 and sc542 codes. I think the firmware added a fuser idling time. Click the link and download the appropriate software required.
I hope this helps and good luck!
