Check your radio power source, sounds like something is making a connection that shouldn't. Or give us more info on what its doing.

Determine if an analog receiver has blown a channel

When you need to replace the output transistors, do them both at the same time with a matched pair. That way you won't unbalance the power supply and will be assured of the same power out is available on both channels.

The problem is that the driver circuit is also damaged. Try powering up the unit with the output transistors disconnected. Measure each pad and report the results here. You should see something like 0.6,B+,0.0 on each set of three. Some will be negative rather than + (-0.6,B-, 0.0).

Keep us posted.

Transistors have their type written on them in very small print.
Look at the transistor that is faulty and read off the number printed on it.

I have a Pmp5000 889406987784 Eurowpower PMP5000 1200-Watt 20-Channel Mixer and Speaker Output A has no output. What has happened?

Usual problem is the Channel A amplifier has burned and blown the switching transistors. Usually an internal board arc occurs and unless very skilled at board work of clearing the burned area and replacing the components you are better to replace the HCA2400 amplifier module... about $160

Quiet Galaxy DX 44V

Sounds like you have lost a final or a driver transistor if so a shop or reputable repairman is your best answer. You should also have him check your cables and SWR on your antenna system as well as check for loose grounds. Sounds like you had a high SWR and blew out a final transistor. But it could be as simple as a loose component or cold solder joint in the radio. Get professional help.

No pic on the screen, the set blew up and i replace the capitors and all the burn styy yet its turn on and no pic

If you change the capacitor...Did you clean the oil of the capacitor from its surrounding area, because due to oil it could short the components, Check first Filament is lighten-up ? If yes then check ABL Voltages, if filament voltages not present check horizontal out put transistor. and check also safty resistances in surrounding area of H OUT Transistor.
Hope this will solve the problem.
Thanks for using fixya.

No Output + Burned Transistor and something else...

Depending on which circuit the IRFP064N/mosfet was in then you either have a blown output section and you will need to look at the other mosfet's that work with the one you replaced or if it is in the power supply area then you will need to check the other mosfet's that work with it in the power supply. Of course you will have to test all the driving circuitry that is associated with either output or power supply, which ever is involved and be sure that the driving voltages are correct. Of course, in the power supply it would be a high frequency square wave of about 50% duty cycle. A schematic would probably be of great help. Good luck.
