Disconnect the electrical connector that joins the arches. Unscrew the half of the arch that holds the batteries. Check the red lead from the battery compartment. Mine had two problems - it was almost disconnected from the battery, and had another disconnect in the middle. Twist the wires together at both fault points and tape (electrical tape) or solder. I soldered and my Learning Home is now working perfectly.

There are several different ways to set this sytem up, all based on your baby's needs and your preference. If the instructions aren't available for safe assembly, you should contact the manufacturer and request a copy.
The velcro straps on the mat fit into the plastic brackets or around the tubes. This allows the option of having a play mat for tummy time or a tunnel for the crawler. The accessories attach to the tube wherever you prefer. Eventually, baby will detach the hanging do-dads and perhaps reattach them in various locations.
This is a great play item for a baby, but NEVER leave the baby unsupervised while using this toy.
