Question about Panasonic WORKiO DP-1520P All-In-One Laser Printer

1 Answer

I have a Panasonic DP1810 copier and I am getting a faded vertical line through my documents. I have tried changing the toner cartridge and this made no difference. Could you let me know what the next part to change might be to cure the problem. Thank you.

the two places to look is transfer roller and the fuser unnit.
i think there is a problem with the transfer roller it is under the toner and it needs to be spring loaded. The paper passes between the toner an the transfer roller to charge the paper en let the toner stick to the paper and if it doesn't make correct contact then it wont work

Print quality: dark faded, but continuous

Open top cover and remove toner, shake toner cartridge and try a test print. IF image good then problem is low toner level in cartridge.

Faded on left hand side

If it only happens with the black then you need to change out the black toner cartridge. The good news is isn't doesn't happen with color so it more than likely not the printer but the toner.

Most likely the fuser has lost part of the teflon from the heat roller. Having said that, the first step in any print quality issues is to change the toner cartridge. good luck!

It sounds like you need a new cartridge. I am not familliare with that product, but I would strongly suspect the drum or toner cartridge. They may be all one.
Often those cartridges are very low on ink and do not display a message to that effect
