Your defrost drain at the rear of the freezer is probably frozen or clogged.

Hi freezer on american style fridge freezer is

there is a defrost mode that melts any frost or ice on the evaporator coils and drains it into a pan under the fridge. if that drain is blocked, the water will pool inside. also check the door seals. if warm moist air leaks in, it'll condense on the cold interior and pool as well.

Water pools at bottom of freezer, freezes and water leaks out

Hello, this sounds like you have a blockage in the drain tube, remove bottom shelf from fridge and remove the styrofoam..you may see ice build up...melt ice with hair dryer/heat gun...you will see a pan below evaporator...melt ice in pan...dry water up in pan with paper towel...now you should see a hole in pan that leads to drain tube...pour some hot water in pan..wait a couple minutes..mop up water and repeat this step 2-3 times....once you have done this find some flexible curatain wire or electrical wire..poke down the hole until you see the water drain..now it is clear..put back panel back and you are good to go. The reason you see water in the Freezer is because the water has been leaking into the freezer instead of running into the drain hole...Please feel free to comment again if you need any further assistance. Freezer will not keep foods frozen fridge will not keeep temp.

Sounds like a main control board problem keeping the freezer fan from working . If no air flow to the top of the freezer , the icemaker will stop working and the ice will begin to melt ( leaking from freezer ) . The coils will start to freeze up due to no air flow across them . If continued for a period of time , the cold air could return thru the return vent located in the bottom of the ref/freezer section and freeze the water tank in the refrig section , causing the no water thru dispensor .

Ice build up in bottom of freezer

Check the ice maker. sometimes they get cracked a will leak water into the freezer compartment. Also check the ice maker fill tube for leaks or someone could have spilled something. Although this is tipical of a clogged drain. What happens is when the fridge go into derfost, it will melt all the frost that is on the evaporator, turning it into water. The water drains down to a trough under the evaporator and down a drain hole in the trough ( this trough is behind the evaporator cover ) Removing the melted frost from the freezer. If that drain is clogged, the water cannot leave the freezer. Then when the fridge starts back up ,it will freez the water that was not drained. After repeated defrosting the water will fill this trough and run off into the bottom of the freezer to be frozzen when the fridge starts to cool again.

I have a Samsung SR-S2028CSS side by side Fridge Freezer with an icemaker water dispenser. The freezer is run at -23 degrees and the fridge at 2 degrees. Recently the ice, having been made in the icemaker,...

Are you sure about these temps C or F? At 2 deg on either scale, food would freeze! And -23 is unreachable.
Water running down the door sounds like a seal leak, check by putting a dollar bill between the seal and the frame. It should NOT pull out easily. Or there may be an air leak in the ice/water dispenser. Look at these parts closely. Or the "stile heater", a heater in the door frame to prevent condensation, may be broke. This is expensive to fix.

Water leaking on floor from under Mod#TPH21PRS;TPH21PBS

I you dont have any water hooked up for the ice maker or for water at the door, about the only thing left is your freezer drain. Look in the back under the freeser side and look for a drain... see where it drains.. over flowing? anyway water could get out from where in drains to?

My Jennair Side by side has ice in freezer bottom and leaks water

This sounds like the defrost drain line is clogged and frozen. Every 8-12 hours the defrost cycle melts the ice buildup on the coils and is supposed to drain out to the pan under the fridge. Once this is blocked or freezes up the next cycles continue to put liquid water over the existing ice which then freezes, etc. till finall the area is frozen enough for water to find it's way out the door seals. You will need to take the back interior panel off the freezer side to view the coils and drain line. It will take lots of hot water to melt the ice in the drain area and the drain line in order to run a cleaning tube (basically a piece of 1/4" tubing like the water line tubing a couple feet long that you can force down the drain to make sure it's not plugged). Once you push the cleaning tube down the drain and can see it come out the other end in the drip tray pull it back out and pour hot water down it once more to watch that it drains fast. That should do it!

Leak from icemaker shorts electricity in house

It sounds like the ice in the bin is warming up enough to melt for some reason then re-freeze. Check your door gasket seal and also the ice chute door flapper seal to make sure warm room air isn't being drawn into the ice bin area. Also make sure the freezer area is VERY cold like 0 degrees F or lower, that will keep the ice hard and help stop the ice from having a liquid surface film from opening and closing the freezer door too often (then freezing again). The water down the back is from the ice cubes melting a little then re-freezing. Also, is the frige working OK? Does the compressor turn on and off normally? I ask because sometimes the compress start device is failing and the refer can warm up quite a bit while the compressor is trying to start up... eventually the compressor will start but by then the ice has melted a little then the compressor runs for a long time to bring the temps down again. Monitoring with a thermometer every hour will show if the temps are lowering in the freezer section too much.

Freezer Not Freezing and Water Not Working

More than likely you've got an iced up evaporater. If you look in the lower section of the freezer on the back wall, is the wall frosty or icy looking? The only way to defrost this is by taking the back wall out of the freezer and using a hair dryer on it (being careful not to melt the plastic liner) or to just empty the whole thing and let it sit with the doors open for a few days. Be prepared for water to leak out from under it however as the ice melts and overflows the drain tray in the bottom of the fridge. Good Luck!
