Question about Car Audio & Video
Hit the button and it sparked and smells like smoke
Likely a problem with the motor; a replacement is about $50 from what I can tell. I have the same problem with mine, as well as the batteries not staying charged but a few hours. I would chuck mine and get a new one, but I have the saw and a reciprocating saw that also use the same battery, and I would have to throw out those as well if I did not want to replace the batteries. A Li Ion battery replacement is $70 or so, and I am not sure it can be safely charged with the original charger, so I have a similar dilemma.
