Pull the tips of the hinges down with a reg. pair of pliers until they stay in position. take the door and there should be a slot on each side where the hinge goes in. position 1 side and start it then teeter the door to start into the other slot. make sure it looks even on both sides then give a good push and the hinge guides should go all the way into the door and you are done...you might have to try a couple times. but, with these instructions you will get it good luck and let me know how you do goodday//

I have a McClary Charm A2746 wood stove.I wanted to know what year it is?

Kathy, There should be a certification plate on the stove some where, listing make, model, year of manufacture, etc., open doors/drawers etc. to see if tag is riveted on inside panel or frame. Check the attached links they may help determine the age of your stove, Good luck.

How can i clean the glass between my oven door,i noticed streaks and it makes the oven look dirty

Whirlpool door are a bit difficult to remove from the stove. the owners manual may tell you what you need to do to remove it. Once you have it off then the door can be taken apart by removing tye screws that hold it together. This should be done on a flat surface and taking a lot of care. Remember how it comes apart and reverse the procedure when putting it back together. If you break a glass they are expensive to replace if available.

Mcclary stove

One thermostat (sometimes at the back of the stove) is open/blown or the door locking assembly has failed. To open the door you may remove the back of the stove; take the door locking assembly apart to release the long wire that hooks the door close.
On some models you can see the locking the latching mechanism through a **** in the top front and can play with the mechanisms there to release the door.
Then you can begin to figure why the door latched in the first place.

Replacing oven burner element, the lower element, for a GE stove

(I think it is 50 watts or volts??)
Most electric ranges are supplied with 220 volts - this is, especially at 60 Hz, deadly. You were lucky this time.
If the wires are not welded onto the element contacts, they might be so-called 'quick-disconnects' that pull straight off of blades that are part of the elelment.
You probably haven't hurt the range with the momentary short circuit since the chassis of the range is connected to neutral or ground so you just gave your breaker a workout. BTW, I have had to replace late breakers after they tripped. They wouldn't stay reset any more even after the problem was removed from the circuit. Don't be surprised if yours doesn't stay reset; it may not be a fault causing it.

Pf code on frigidaire professional series free standing range

"PF" indicates the electronic control detected a Power Failure.
This could have been caused a brief power outage OR may be an indication that the connections to the oven, either at the stove or at the plug are loose.
