I can't get the mp3 player to play the songs I've loaded. It only plays one of the several songs I loaded...

What file format are the songs and what model is the MP3 player.

If you're putting music on in a file format it doesn't understand, like .qt, or .wma, or something specialized like that, it may not read it. Try converting them to mp3 format. Just google "Freeware Mp3 Converter"

I bought an mp3 player 1 gb but all songs are not played

You need to ensure that the files that you have loaded onto the player are not in WMA format. This mp3 player may not be compatible with this type of file.

Sansa Clip 2gb only plays parts of songs

The songs you have loaded have a restrictive license on them that only allows full playback on a computer, not on an mp3 player. If you only download songs in mp3 format, you will never have this problem.

Loading songs

check the file types from you music the shaker only plays MP3 and PCM WAV  file types. You may have WMA (if u used windows media player) which will not play on the shaker  (i had this same ploblem btw) you can easly find free music file converter software to change these files to mp3 or wav types (which i did), or you could rerip to songs from a cd and tell the windows media player to rip the files as mp3 types instead of the default wma format  from the windows media player widow :
tools >> options >> Rip Music >> under format select mp3 (theres a wav option but i used the mp3 option to be safe)
do not use the sync feature it will automatically convert your files to to wma (why? i dont know) instead copy the files directly from the folder that contains them :
right click the file you need to put on the player select open file location drag and drop to the player (or copy/paste if you want).
hope this helped =P

Slick mp3

The player says you have an unknown format, I take it. Most likely you loaded a song that's in a format the player doesn't recognize, or loaded a song with the extension wrong.. From some specs; Audio file format: MP3, WMA, WMA-DRM10 (PlaysForSure), WAV. Easiest fix, load songs it'll recognize, if you have one it's not happy with, try using GoldWave ( to load it, then save in appropriate format. Exellent program that handles most formats.

Rca th1100 pearl, I can't load songs what am I doing wrong?

Make sure the songs are in the correct format. Make sure the songs are not AAC, WAV, streaming, or some other non-supported format
Mp3 players are more complicated than ever. This player may only accept DRM-encrypted WMA files. I would first check the songs that you have downloaded to make sure they did not have "temporary" licenses with a fixed end date. You can do this by right clicking on an individual song, clicking on properties, and selecting the "license," "digital rights mgmt" or "media usage rights" tab - the wording varies by configuration. It will give you info on the license. If the song says that it has no license, it will not work with this player. One remedy is to use mp3 converter software to convert all of those wma files to Mp3's - I don't know of any free ones, but you can certainly look for free Mp3 Converters. Another remedy on unlicensed songs is to hit the "acquire license" link in the license tab, if one exists.
