My toshiba model pslb84-027025 shuts down automatically to blue, white or black screen and sometimes reboots itself...? how do i resolve this problem?

dear friend i understood your problem there is nothing special to do just format your laptop pslb84-027025 becausethe problems you have to face is due to virus program attacks to your laptop some times an antivirus program unable to find the viruses so i suggest you to format your laptop.

NOTE:keep the back up of the drivers , or you don't have? just go to www.notebookera.com then select your device then download the drivers related to your device.

thank you for give me chance to help you,

Toshiba tecra a1 bios password

Hi,
If you are prompted for a password just after boot up and are unable to provide the correct password there is not much you can do about it. After 3 wrong trials the laptop will lock. The only solution to regain control of your(?) laptop is to take it to a Toshiba Certified Service Center to have the password removed, or changed. You may have to show proof of ownership.

Hope it helps.
Thank You for using FixYa.

I posted about my laptop and needing an hdd password. the expert said to go to the control panel. i CANT do that because it asks for ''main HDD PASSWORD'' before it even starts up!please help i bought this...

It's probably actually a BIOS password. This can sometimes be removed quite easily by removing the dime-sized silver battery for the CMOS. For further information, check out this document.

10gb of RAM is not enough for Windows XP. You need to upgrade your HDD to about atleast 40 GB HDD Minimal... I'd recommend a new PC if you can get that to work out, but I understand the tuff economical times.. If you need any mroe help ..throw me an email at joey@joeysitservices.com I'll give you some bootable tools that may help!

I need to remove my bios password

You can try the old parallel port dongle trick.

Do a search on google for the Toshiba Password Removal. If you are enclined enough you can build your own parallel port key that will wipe the password out.

If you would rather buy a premade port key, search on eBay for something like this -

I found a schematic once online, a long while back when I had the need, and built my own out of spare parts in my shop. Worked great... only had to use it once for a customers laptop. But I still hang on to it just in case someone else comes along. There is also a USB version I believe.
