Question about Galileo 2007 2008 2009 Toyota Camry Navigation Gps Radio Nav GPS Receiver

2 Answers

The display screen for the Navigation GPS (Toyota Camry Hybrid 2007) is totally dark all the time. Did I turn it off mistake? Is there something simple I could do myself to get it to work again? It worked fine (radio, gps, etc) until recetnly. It is still under Toyota warranty, but I live far from a dealer so am wondering if someone out there can give me some troubleshooting advice. Thanks alot, CJ.

I have the same problem. Screen works fine if I press the buttons, but I can't see a thing. Went to Toyot, they told me I would have to replace the entire unit for $2200, which is rediculous, because the rest of the unit works fine, I just can not see anything.

I have the same problem. It randomly goes dark but the radio still works if you use the buttons. Then it randomly comes back on.

It is just aft of the last catalytic converter. It is not an O2 sensor, it is a catalyst efficiency monitor.

Head gaskets are not easy, if the smoke is white you still have a coolant leak into cylinders

Camry 2007 Hybrid radio with no sound or volume. Trun the nobe but nothing is displayed.

It is a blown fuse. The fuse box is located under the hood-I believe it is the no. 6 fuse (15A) There should be an extra fuse attached to the back of the fuse box cover along with the fuse puller. The location of the radio fuse is also shown.

May have to recalibrate the system. Do you still have the navigaton installation disc? Might need to get a new and updated version from Toyota.

Unknown 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid Button

The ECO HEAT/COOL button of your hybrid functions to reduce the consumption of electricity thus, a reduction of fuel consumption. An indicator 'ECO' appears on the air conditioning display to indicate that the mode is on. Of course, with the ECO HEAT/COOL on it'll take longer than the usual amount of time for the temperature to reach its normal or standard set temperature.

Your ECO HEAT/COOL mode won't function if your temperature control is set at 'LO" or 'HI" or if the air flow is in the "floor/windshield mode" or "windshield mode".

Hope this helps.
