There is hack software out there for cracking the BIOS password and resetting, don't take me wrong, I don't get into hacking but where I work at a Uni its a useful tool if used legally

When turning on my HP Compaq tc4400 Tablet PC a blue screen comes on that says power-on password, but I do not remeber the password. How can I get past this

Well, you will have to try harder to remember it. Failing that, you will need to take it to an HP certified Service Center to have the password erased.

I have HP TC4400 Laptop and there is BIOS password which is forgoted please help me how can i remove that password.

To reset the BIOS password read the information from this link.

In case of your HP TC4400 laptop the easiest method would be using software from Hiren's Boot CD as it's pretty hard to open it up and reach for the CMOS battery or the jumper.

Restore factory settings on a Dell Latitude C510

Get a USB CD drive, insert a winXP pro tablet CD, go into bios and tell it to boot from USB device, turn off, attach the USB drive and fire it up. That should reformat and once you get Winxp working you should be able to get the necessary drivers from the Dell web site. Tech suppt at Dell may sell you a disc for the machine that will restore the factory image, just ask. I got new ones from HP for $10.72 total incl postage! 3 to 5 days, what a deal!
Any decent tech should be able to reinstall everything you need for less that $50.00, but you will lose all data on the drive. Who else knows or remembers the login?

Bios

It's not looking good. Your kids had to type it twice to be able to set one. If you can't get them to remember it you might have some work cut out for you.

Read the information on the site I provided above. Sometimes you luck out and it's a simple jumper setting to clear a BIOS password. Sometimes you are looking at onboard memory that stores the password. From what I have read about it so far by googling it.

The RTC battery is on the underside of the system board, and you will need to totally disassemble the laptop to get at it.

They talk of a video guide from HP showing you the steps to do this, but I was unable to find it as it has likely been removed.
Click on the -->Real Time Clock Battery<-- 3rd from the bottom of the left side column.
Use the link below to get some online chat help from HP.

Good luck...hopefully this helped out some.
