Question about Televison & Video
My name is Daniel and I live in Sweden.
For 3 years ago I bought one LCD-TV AMOI LC20D5E.
Now is out of guaranty and I have a little problem with this.
I push start and is coming the blue screen. I use different sources like TV,VGA,RGB… but no image on the screen and no sound.
I connect the TV cable and select the source TV. I can see the blue screen and in the corner up left number 52. I can not switch the programs and no volume control either. The volume control is maximum all the time (on the screen) but no sound.
I connect the DVD with right sources but just blue image and no sound.
I connect the PC with VGA source and I have XP background just one second and after blue again, after one second XP and after blue again. I thing that maybe I have little problem with software or maybe something else.
I try to change brightness or colours but it doesn’t work. I can see the menu but I can not change them. I can not search the programs either.
Please, can you give me a vice what can I do, how can I fix this. I try to find on the internet some information’s about restore settings factory or software download but I couldn’t find anything.
Maybe I should buy some components or…?? Can somebody help me?
I hope that somebody answer to my questions and help me.

SOURCE: blue screen with HDMI
The HDMI port might be loose on your TV. I had the same problem. I went to radio shack bought a solder and soldering metal with some flux. I then opened my 37inch Sceptre Naga and aligned the hdmi connectors properly to the board, I then soldered the hdmi port firmly into place. This fixed my blue screen problem.

SOURCE: No display
Well I just joined in the world of broken Samsung's. Died Feb. 1st. I had three month additional warranty, but of course it died the day after. Same problem, no video, just audio.
However if you call 1-800-522-7341. This is the number for Executive Customer Relations. They extended my warranty and contacted the repair center for me. Probably won't be fixed by Superbowl Sunday though. I expressed my disbelief that after 15 months a 2400 set can die. I have to call back on Monday for additional help.
