My computer will not recognize my camera - Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II Digital Camera

The camera cannot recognize the card because IT HAS BEEN FORMATTED IN THE COMPUTER! Camera cards must be formatted in the camera.

First, make sure that the Computer recognizes the Camera when connected to it using the USB cable.

When the computer recognizes the connected camera then a "No name" drive appears on the Desktop of the computer.

Double-click the "No name" removable drive on the Desktop to view and navigate through the folders and files on the Camera.

Enter Olympus web site and look for your camera drivers to be used with your OS. Download the drivers in your computer and it should solve your problem. Good luck!
