Welcome to Fixya

Looks like the software just hanged-up on you. Try to reset the Ipod by following the procedures below.

1st option:
Turn the Hold switch on, then back to off.
Press and hold the Menu and Select buttons for 10 seconds (until the Apple logo appears).
You may need to repeat the reset several times.
If the reset doesn't help, then put the iPod into forced disk mode.

2nd option (Disk Mode):
Plug the iPod into a high-powered USB port, let it sit for 2 hours, then disconnect it. If you have a wall charger, plug in the iPod, then follow these steps while it is still plugged in.
Turn the Hold switch on, then back to off.
Press and hold the Menu and Select buttons until the Apple logo appears
Immediately switch your figures to press and hold the Select and the Play/Pause buttons until "Disk Mode" appears at the top.
For a lot of people, this solves the problem. Connect the iPod to the computer and (assuming it shows up) reset the iPod again to get it out of Disk Mode. If at this point you still have the white screen, restore the iPod using the restore function in iTunes under the Summary tab (this will erase everything on the iPod and put it at factory settings).
Note: Do not disconnect or eject the iPod until the store is totally done. After you think it's done, wait another five minutes.

Have a good day!

How to give your iPod a longer battery life

Everyone wants to keep their iPod pumping some excellent songs, but eventually it will run out of power. There are some simple and effective tips you can use to increase the Apple macbook pro 15 inch battery life of your iPod by almost half.
- Backlight
Turn off the light back can save a massive amount of power. It is defaulted to ON, if every time you touch the scroll wheel, the light illuminates. Disable it to see a big difference in the lives of Dell inspiron 1545 battery!
- Volume
Yes, everyone loves his music is strong, but it is actually Dell Inspiron 2650 Battery down quickly. If you're on a long trip, keep the volume a little more than halfway there. This way you will be able to squeeze in that extra album or a favorite song.
- Full Load
Charging iPod completely before use with a iPod charger will make a big difference. Pumping as much power in the Dell Latitude D820 Battery as possible, it will hold more than electrical reactions take place inside. The longer you leave the charger plugged sector ipod better, even if the sign is fully charged up!
- Clicker
Even if the clicker uses a small amount of energy, it can add up to a lot over a long period of time. Turn it off and you will see that you have more power than before, and people sitting next to you will not be bored any more when changing tracks.

Invacare m51 scooter. I just replaced the batteries in my dads chair. We charged it all night the first night and it ran great the next day. recharged it for several days after using it and now the battery...

Sweet you do not need to leave the charger plugged in for several days. Sounds like there is a charger problem When you first plug the charger in with batteries depleted you should be getting a red and yellow light with the yellow turning green when fully charged. now the charger (built in) could have become unplugged from the power module located in the rear of the chair behind the black cover. To get to it you have to remove the seat, shroud and batteries then using a phillips screwdriver and adjustable wrench remove the black cover. The charger cord will be the last one on the left with a small 4 pin white plastic plug make sure it is well seated in the power module. If it isn't loose then you have a problem with the charger or the circuit. Now if you know of a friend that has an off board charger for a chair or scooter that you can borrow you can charge the batteries using the charger port located under the front of the joystick Plug the charger into the port then into the wall socket and let er rip Charge until the light turns green overnite is a good habit to get into If the onboard charger is bad I would suggest you by an offboard charger (cheaper) Now if Medicare paid for your Dads Chair then they will pay for any repairs even batteries and you can contact the provider that your dad got the chair from to see if they will repair it Hope this helps

Hi

Try this out

 1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
 2. Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 8 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.
This should resolve ur issue

Can u help me

Well Basicly if you take the ipod apart, dry it, then place it in a airtight container filled with rise, and leave it in there for 2-4 days, in parts.. that might get it to work again.

Heres a few helpful videos for you. Remember to rate my solution. Thanks
