Question about Cuisinart DCC-1200 Coffee Maker
When I set the coffee maker to brew and turned it on it brewed the coffee but at some point the warming plate turne itself off so it wasn't hot for my husband when he got up. My old coffee maker just stayed on. Do I have to reset the Auto-Off button "after" my brewing is done?
The same question for Programmed time. I tried setting the Auto-On and it came on at the time expected but I'm wondering the same question - how long does the warming plate stay on or do I then have to do a 2nd step by programming the "Auto-Off"? It seems like a lot of extra steps.
It seems this coffeemaker insists on shutting itself off after 4 hours,
or whatever "auto-off" time you've programmed in. The only work-around I've found is to switch it to "Brew" and cycle the power switch off and on every time you pour a cup. That will start a new
4-hour timer cycle. Since the pot's still hot, it will go quickly to the
"brewing done" state and render 5 beeps.
