Question about Computers & Internet
Had laptop reset to factory settings now i cannot pick up wireless router. have put in i p address but wont accept it, have had atheros communications installed could this be the problem. thx firstname.lastname@example.org. 01914602081
You need to put the correct credentials in Your Wireless connection settings on your Laptop. Example: SSID Name, Type of Connection, and Key. If you do not know your settings you may have to get a Network cable and connect directly to the Router and then log in by typing whatever IP address the Router defaults to. Usually Linksys is 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.2.1. You would put that IP address in your browser like a URL. Then it will ask you to log in and then you will log in as whatever the defualt user name and password is. You can find more info at the Linksys website.
