Question about Sharp AR-C260M All-In-One Printer

Unable to enter program mode for Sharp AR-C260M Copier / Printer

I am trying to get into the simulation mode of the AR-C260m copier /printer to clear a Service Call error H5-01. Solution to clear is given as #/P key > Asterisk Key On > Clear Key On . Etc. But I am unable to get the #/P key to respond, all the keys, numeric and C & CA keys do not work with the Service code message showing. Can enter onto the Custom settings and have found the operator enter code which does not give me any options to enter the program mode. Is there a password protection or sequence of keys to release the #/P key or some other sequence to get it to operate. Any help much appreciated. Thanks John

Solved the problem by switch on press #P Then * then C then *  then 14  This will then ask if to execute the action to clear the service code H5-01.
Will need to ensure that the fuser unit is not causing a blockage on the feed out path as this code is caused by 5 errors / misfeeds in the Fuser unit.

My Sharp printer AR-C260M has an error sign "F2-43." It appears when I first turn on the machine and I can't use it at all.


Your machine is starved for yellow toner. Your yellow cartridge may have run out or its' countdown chip went to zero without the copier alerting you, sometimes this will happen on these models. Try replacing your yellow toner cartridge.

H5-01 Error, I need to clear this. How do I enter tech mode, I know the sequence is P# - * - C - * - 14 - start - execute. Its a sharp AR C 260


Did you open the left door and clean all the paper out of your fuser and exit area? If you cleared paper and code and get it again either your fuser needs a rebuild or your transfer belt if not moving paper through fast enough. H5-01 means five consecutive attemps to send paper through the fuser have failed.

What does the code H4-00 on a Sharp AR-C260 copier mean?


That is a heat error and easy to clear.
On your machine press P * C *. That is the #*C*.
The machine will enter diagnostics. In the small box enter the number 14 and press start, It will then give you an option to press the number 1 to clear the fault.
Once there, enter 1, then press start. Press clear a couple of times and the machine will reset and run.
You could have a fuser problem. But I would say 95 percent of the time doing the P*C* will resolve it.

What does the code L1-00 on a Sharp ARBC260 copier


L1-00 means that the scanner unit under the glass was interupted in it travle and didnt return to home position within a specified time. Often you can restart the power to clear this.

Make sure that the collate button is not turned on as this sometimes has the result of this fault.
