Can not get onto hotmail. I have forgot my password. Have tried many times and still have not gotten on.

Click the "Can't access your account?" link on the Hotmail sign-in page.

On the Hotmail sign in page click the "Can't access your account?" link.

The Microsoft Hotmail website will appear on the screen. Click the icon associated with your account beneath "Sign In." Enter your Windows Live ID and password, and click "Sign In." Hotmail will open on your screen. Click your account name in the upper-right corner of the Hotmail account and then click "Account." Click "Change" to the right of "Password" beneath "Account information." The "Change your password" screen will appear. Type your old password to the right of "Old password." Type your new password to the right of "Type your new password" and then type your new password again to the right of "Retype new password." Click "Save." Open a browser. Go to the Windows Live Hotmail log-in page using the link in Resources. Type your Windows Live ID and password in the fields to the right. Click the "Sign in" button. Click the Inbox link to the left. Your email will be displayed.

you should have typed in a password when you registered for hotmail. you can click on i forgot my password and you should be prompted to enter a new password or they will send it via e-mail. each co is different when you have for gotten your password. hope this helps

you should try and log onto your hotmail account and then press on (i forgot my password)

Depending on where the email account is hosted (Gmail, Hotmail, etc.) you could try to reactivate the account and then recover your password. If you can't reactivate the account and you don't know the password, and can't change the password, then you're just going to have to make a new account.

Have you tried the "forgot password" option? If so, are you prompted to choose between two options to reset your password? This time select the first option which uses your secret answer and location to verify your identity instead of the e-mail method.
