Don't use them myselve PC World last I was there, have a large componants display panel, the idea is you find the component, take to the desk, remembering to take your Poota with you, they fit on sight while you wait.
Price varies on components, if mem serves me right nothing over £30.00, but don't quote me? The price includes fitting.

Hope this is of help

Acer aspire t180-d97z will not start ,1 long beep2 short ,

There is a problem with the on-board video or the graphics card. If you have a standalone graphics card in the computer take it out, clean the slot and the brass contacts on the card and re-seat it.
Also reset the CMOS by removing the power cord and take out the motherboard battery for 20 minutes. Re-insert the battery and power cord and see of the computer will boot up with a display on-screen.

Good luck.

Can any one tell me if there is an software update for an acer aspire t180 9-1 card reader so that it can take sdhc cards

If the card fits in the socket, the reader should read it.
However, you might want to go to Acer's site and check for updates for the reader.

New graphics card

You can buy an Nvidia 8800GTS with 320MB for $180, and a 9600 woth 512MB for 130. If I were you I'd pick either of these, they're both good cards for a good price.

I have a TP link wireless adaptor for an acer aspire T180 pc. I can't work out where to fit it on the motherboard

Providing the wireless adaptor is a PCI card this fits the white slot on motherboard.
Should it be USB, then plugs in the USB port.

Graphics card

Hi bob,

Is your onboard video busted? as i check your specs; you have these slots available in your motherboard

2 ( 2 ) x PCI ¦ 1 ( 1 ) x PCI Express x1 ¦ 1 ( 1 ) x PCI Express x16 ¦ 1 ( 0 ) x processor ¦ Memory

base from:

so, you can go to your nearest computer shop and ask them for a videocard that uses PCI Express x16, if its for gaming then go for the higher specs, i can't assist you further with regard to the exact video card model though.
