Question about Casio Parts Cash Register PC Desktop

Setting Date and Time is driving me nuts! I've tried "variations on a theme," as well as exactly following instructions. The Date and Time will set, but not change over time. Still shows time and date it was initially set. HELP!

    Thank you for prior reply.
Although the first 2 lines of your instructions were different, results are same.
The date and time will not be remembered.

Should programming be saved to FLASH, #1=Yes, #2=No. ??

    Thank you.

Yes ..indeed you have to save the programing to Flash ...in order to work and be remembered...the flash is similar to the bios in computers ..the place were the time and date is remembered and has a power of its own ..and work even if its shut down ..

Unable to install anything on my e63, especially themes

The errors are caused because of the security measures introduced into the new version of Symbian Series 60 mobile operating system disallowing installation of old applications and invalid certificates, however bypassing this security feature and fixing these certificate errors to install themes and softwares is very easy, simply follow the instructions below:
  1. Open you mobile main Menu.
  2. Navigate to Settings -> General -> Date and time
  3. Now change the year back one year.
  4. Now install the application.
  5. Don't forget to change date back to original.
If the above does not solve the problem goto Application Manager > Options > Settings and set "Online Certificate check" = Off and Software Installation = All.

My e 63 isnt supporting themes which are being downloaded from the following web sites example zedge and symbian web site

Hi,

Don't worry this is simple settings issue.

Note:Please download only E63 series Themes only.......not other phone themes...

To solve this problem follow the steps:

1)Go to Menu-> Tools-> Application Manager
2) Then press (options) button, select (settings)
3) Make sure <Software installation > is set to "All" and < Online certif.check > is set to "Off"

Some time you get certificate expire to solve this you have to change the date. This is to prevent the users from using expired application:
If you encounter Expired Certificate error during installation, please set your phone date to 03/03/2007 before installion of the theme .You can reset your phone date back after installation.
If still the problem persist Change the PC date also because it will get synchronized with your mobile and try different dates so that it will match the application date.(Reason is every application is valid for a period of time
example.from 03/03/2007 to 03/09/2007 so you have to give date between this.So try old dates usually some years back...

Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

thank you for using fixya have a nice day:-)
