Pull the battery, let it sit, replace the battery. See if the issue continues. hook it to your computer, see if it continues. If not your good. If it does, you may need to try and flash the phone then restore from a backup.

    Sorry, I wasn't thinking. It's been a long Friday...Please try this.

    1. Reset the iPhone

Reset the iPhone by holding the sleep/wake button at the top right of the device and the home button
at the bottom center of the face at the same time. Hold them both until
you see the screen go black and the white Apple logo appear. When this
happens, you can let go - the iPhone is rebooting.

    2. Update Firmware

    Apple’s firmware
updates for the iPhone improve stability and add features. Making sure
you're using the latest version should help reduce iPhone program
crashes. Learn how to check for new iPhone firmware.

    3. Open Several Apps you don't Use Everyday
Some apps have to be open to update components of the phone. My brother lost all his apps after an update, he opened one of his games, it changed something, and everything worked.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------
If the problem is not fixed, but you can at least get into the phone interface. You can always wipe and reinstall. Here's the instructions.

    1. Go to Settings

    2. Tap on General

    3. Scroll all the way down and tap Reset

    4. Choose Erase All Content and Settings

    5. Confirm (twice) that you REALLY want to lose everything
    Then restore from a backup.

IPhone lock button broken

This has happened to 4 people I know. Unfortunately it is not an easy fix. The button had a little spring like price under it that pushes it back up and that part has broke. You can get a new button setup off of eBay really cheap and watch a tutorial on how to do it on YouTube. If you don't want to do it yourself, pay apple 100 dollars to

I forgot my iPhone Passcode. What can I do to unlock it?

iPhone setting:*
- Auto-Lock: 1 Minute;*
- Passcode Lock: On, require passcode immediately, after 15 min or 4 hours etc;*
- Network: Turn 3G Off

Scenario 1: Home screen is active with screen on*
1. Press power button for seconds until asked to '"slide to power off"
2. Slide to power off
3. press power button to turn on iPhone
4.*When asked to enter passcode, touch the "Cancel" key, then slide to unlock
5. bypassed passcode

Scenario 2:*
1. On the screen of being asked to enter passcode, press power button for seconds until asked to '"slide to power off"
2.*Slide to power off
3. press power button to turn on iPhone
4.*When asked to enter passcode, DO NOT touch any key on the screen, press power button for seconds until asked to '"slide to power off"
5. Slide to power off
6. press power button to turn on iPhone
7.*When asked to enter passcode, touch the "Cancel" key on the right bottom corner, then slide to unlock
8. bypassed passcode

Notes:
1. When Network setting changes to Enable 3G: ON, "3G" signal shows up, passcode CANNOT be passed through
Go to a underground parking lot or a lift where 3G signal is weak, when 3G signal switches to "E" (Edge), passcode CAN be passed through following above steps
2. When no 3G or Edge signal, above steps don't work

Conclusion:
Seems passcode security is related to network status
Possible security hole under Edge

I am unable to see the normal size screen image, it is magnified and will not reset to normal size

This is not a problem...

You just accidentally zoomed in, to zoom back out, here's what you gotta do: double-tap anywhere on your iPhone screen using 3 of your fingers (simultaneously). That will fix it.

And in case you want to zoom in again, just do the same thing.

Iphone lock button doesn't work (not responding to clicks)

Can I ask if you have the following issues:
- Power button will not lock screen - When resetting the phone you see the apple logo for a few seconds then it resets again and goes into a loop - iPhone will turn boot when connected to a computer - when it boots up, the slide to power off screen appears - no amount of restoring fixes the issue
If so, then your issue is the power button is sticking. I fixed this last night by opening up the iPhone and cleaning out the Power button.
