Download for a driver for rocketfish rf30HUB4

Test it on other computers and if they recognize it try to download driver updates to your computer which help to recognize external devices.

I have a aver tech 3.5" HDD enclosure i need the drivers for window 7

There are no special drivers - the unit (when it has a disk in it - it won't be recognized without it) will be recognized as a generic Removable Media and will use the generic driver.

I have the rocketfish hard drive enclosure and when i started to use it on the my MacPro it was working fine then it just stopped working and stopped being recognized.

The internal connection of the hard drive has probably become dislodged. Open it up and reconnect it firmly. If that does not resolve the issue the drive may simple have died (the hard drive, not the enclosure)

Can I boot off the drive from/in the Rocketfish drive; with the operation system that's installed on such as Win XP?

Yes but can be difficult. First you need to make sure your motherboard can boot brom a USB connection. If so then you have to format and install an operating system. Linux would be your best bet to try it out as that particualr operating system is free and has been developed with unusual installations in mind. I would suggest ubuntu

If you are sure the connections between the external case and the hd inside are good then the hd itself is dead, nothing you can do but junk it.

The 250g wd hard drive icon disappeared from the mac desktop and list of devices, without being disconnected. It is still vibrating, 1 of the 4 lights remains on,I had the geek squad at Best Buy plug it in...

If they plugged it into a WinPC, the PC won't be able to read the drive.
More then likely the SATA-to-USB card in the drive has gone bad (like mine did.)
I ended up buying a rocketfish 2.5" SATA HD enclosure kit from BestBuy... now my drive works fine.
Good Luck!

500 GB Fantom Drive not recognized on either of my Macs. Tried Firewire and usb; blinking light turns to steady red.Worked fine for about 2-3 years.

The symptoms don't look too good. Looks like the host controller is querying the hard disk (blink) and not liking the answer - or lack thereof (red).

It looks like the internal disk is defective. Sometimes the disk can be (possibly partially) recovered by disassembling the enclosure and mounting it in another enclosure or directly inside a compatible desktop PC.

Blinking lights and not recognized by computer

Try to remove the internal drive from enclosure and connect directly to PC. Does it show up this way?
Does it make any new clicking/knocking/whirring/grinding sounds like any of these: http://datacent.com/hard_drive_sounds.php ?
