Some cases are glued together with silicone mastic to prevent rattling etc and the cases coming apoart when in use. You can use a Stanley Knife to cut the glue and separate the casing. To reasssemble ju can use some more of the same.

Where do i buy candy go682 80 drum bearings

To the best of my knowledge (I have attempted to make the same repair to my own Candy GO682-80) it is not possible to replace the bearings as this machine uses a "sealed tub" design. That is, it is not possible to separate the two halves of the plastic tub because they have been permanently glued together instead of bolted/screwed. This probably explains why nowhere seems to sell a bearing kit for this model.

Can bearings be replaced for fridgedaire washer model 970 c45062-00

If that is a front load the bearing comes as a part in the rear tub. it is moulded in the tub can't be replaced seperate//A top load the bearing is in the gearcase..If unit is more then 3 years old may be warranty on those parts check your book before you mess with it// might get parts for free just have to pay labour. If you need more help please ask me ....If I helped you please vote for me Good luck

Starts to spin and gets off balance

is the unit level right to left front to back ....if not adjust leveling legs and the tighten locking nuts on leveling leggs.... if unit is level either the tub shocks called dampers are worn they connect the tub to the bottom of the washer and allow a gentle ride while spinning ,,, if they dont look worn or broken the you have a rear bearing and spider support problem and that may be little more than you want to spend on part's consist of seperating the inner and outer tub removing spider support on back of inner tub and replacing seal and bearing on rear outer tub very time consuming and many peopleese parts check owners manual on parts and labor on thst replace washer ....check warranty

How to change bearings in an alternator for a dodge p.u.

DEPENDING ON THE YEAR OT THE DODGE YOU EITHER NEED A PULLER OR A IMPACT WRENCH AND SOCKET TO REMOVE THE FRONT PULLEY.DO THIS AFTER YOU HAVE SEPERATED THE TWO HALFS.THEN YOU EITHER UNCLIP OR UNSCREW THE FRONT BEARING RETAINER AND REMOVE THE ROTOR,NOW YOU EITHER USE A BEARING SEPERATOR OR A SOCKET THE IS THE SAME SIZE AS THE BEARING'S OUTTER RACE AND A LARGE SOCKET UNDER THE CASEING FOR SUPPORT AND TAP IT OUT.THE LATTER IF THE BEARING IS IN THE CASE THE SEPERATOR,AND MAYBE A PULLER ,IF THE BEARING IS ON THE ROTOR.USE A SMALL PEIC OF WIRE TO PIN BACK THE BRUSHES BEFOR YOU TRY TO PUT IT TOGETHER.HOPE THIS HELPS,DODGE HAS USED A LOT OF BRANDS OVER THE YEARS.

I believe that I have a wood screw which has got stuck between the drum and the tub. I have removed the belt drive from the back and tried to ease the drum by knocking the shaft thro the bearing but it is...

If the screw is small enough to move around between the drum and the outer casing then the best way is to physically lift the complete machine and tilt it towards the drain hole in the tub, this will get the screw down into the pump area or hoses where you can remove the hose clips and hopefully the screw. To find out where the drain hole is remove the back cover and follow the pipe work onto the drum casing. If the screw is jammed then you will have to remove the drum from the casing completely. Good luck, let me know how you get on

Need to replace heater core in 1988 Ford Crown

i too replaced the heater core on my 1988 ford cv. the important point to rember is not to get overwhelmed. i ended up removing the whole dash, but not the stearingwheel. lable everything you remove....best to keep all parts seperated. mine looked like a nascar when i finaly got to the black plastic box where the core lives. i had to also remove some of the heating duct. once you open the box up, youll see the core. just sits in there. remove in and out hoses. very simple, but alot of work, thats why you must keep track of everything you remove. your engine coolant may be low, so add more when compleated. its been about 4 years now since i replaced mine.....i dont rember if the black box was rivited togeather or screwed togeather. if rivited, get a dremel tool with a grinder wheel, this will remove the rivites in good time. but the duct work was stapled togeather, i used 1/4 inch sheet metal screws to hook back up, works just fine.
