dell mp5100, turn off after 30 seconds.

I have the same issue and our company has Dell Gold support. I replaced the current bulb with a known good one and that didn't work. So I called Dell Support. Holding...Dell had me power it off, hold the power button for 20 seconds and power back on. I got the same error. Dell is replacing under Dell's Gold Support contract. I realize that doesn't help. Looks like they're fix is to just replace.

We have several Dell 5100s in our office. After the new bulb has been put in, the displays reads "Warming up". I can hear the unit try to get the bulb to fire(the power button light does flicker off and on once everytime it gets ready to try to fire up the lamp again), usually 3-5 times before a yellow/orange display below the display comes on and says "LAMP" the main display on the projector reads "Lamp failure".

Have you tried cleaning all air in-take spaces ? On mine the lamp failure was triggered by temperatur. Afetr hoovering the projector and removing all dust the same lamp worked flawlessy.

How can i fix a lost signal problem, i've replaced the lamp but the problem still persist, what should i do?

Hello
The lamp ballast board should be faulty. This is a common problem with most of the DLP TVs. But before replace it, it hould be checked properly and if there is any chance to repair it, get it repaired. If found irreparable, replace the board. To check this board you should have its schematic diagram to follow and to find the faulty component. If you want anymore assistance from me, come over me by Fixya, by buying any one Mitsubishi TV service, which as been advertised with FixYa. I can't send any PDF files by this window as this window does not allow me to upload PDF files by it. When you buy my service, Fixya will provide a link between us to communicate each other.
Picture of the suspected board is given here for your reference.

I have a panasonic projection TV, PT-60C13 that will not turn on. Upon pressing the power on button, the button flashes green many times, then flashes red five time then one orange flash. This red/orange...

Hi,

The most common cause of Panasonic Rear Projection LCD TVs not starting is bulb failure. The PT-60LC13 users manual gives some help in translating the LEDs on the front of the TV.

If the TV worked normally for a period of time (months or years) and won't start, the most likely cause is bulb failure. There is no way to measure the bulb, sometimes the bulb is visibly damaged when it fails. Remove the Lamp Assembly and look at the bulb.

If there was an On-Screen Lamp Replace warning and TV won't start, bulb has failed.

The first step with all Panasonic Rear Projection TV "No Picture" problems is bulb replacement. If that does not remedy the problem, get a technician, there are no user serviceable parts. Guessing if the ballast, power supply, controller board or optical engine is faulty is not practical.

The Panasonic Lamp Gallery shows all Panasonic models and Lamp Numbers. There is also a link to Panasonic DIY bulb and lamp replacement.

Air Conditioner shut down.

Set your thermostat to "ON". If the system continues to shut off and resumes later then you have an electrical failure within the unit or its just cluttered with junk. Check through the vent holes visually for debri. If there is enough to cause concern, remove the nuts holding the grill above the fan once you have flipped the breaker for the unit. (you definately dont want that thing kicking on with your arm inside)

if the unit stays on then you have a bad thermostat.
also pay attention to the temp of the exterior unit, if it gets too hot to touch then that is a sign of an electrical component failure and needs to be diagnosed through more troubleshooting

GOOD LUCK AND PLS RATE THIS POST!!!!!

Vizio L32 stopped working.

I have seen this many times. The tv most likely has run its course. It could be the power supply or a lamp. Sounds more like a lamp, as you still have lights on your set. check around and get some prices on a lamp. you can have a local shop install it for you. or just replace the set.

This unit probably has a bad power supply. It may also be shutting down because if this unit has recorded 5 lamp errors it goes into shut down. To eliminate lamp errors you can force the unit on in the service mode and look for lamp errors. To do this, you unplug the unit, and while depressing the volume up and channel down buttons at the same time, plug the unit in. Hold for 1 second and release. The unit will then power on and a small k should appear on the screen. If this does not happen then there is definately an internal failure that will require a sharp auth. service center. If the unit does come on with the k, use the remote and press the channel up button. This will produce a menu on the screen and you will note on line will indicate lamp errors. On the right side of that line will show the # of lamp errors. If it reads 0, lamp errors are not the issue, however if it reads 5, you can highlight that line by using the channel down button. Then use the curser right arrow to select the error and then again to reset them. Once the lamp errors have been reset to 0, unplug the unit and wait at least 25 seconds before plugging in. The unit will now power up normally and this may cure the problem for good. If this process corrects the problem and it occurs some time later or right away that will be an indication that either the unit has bad backlights or inverter has failed and will again require service.

Try unplugging the unit and while unit is unplugged hold the volume up button and channel down buttons down and while depressing both buttons plug the unit in. Let go of the buttons and the unit should come on in the service mode. There will be a small k on the screen. With the sharp remote press the channel up button once. This should bring up a menu that will show a lamp error line. If the lamp error is = to 5 the unit is in lamp error shut down. User channel down to highlight that line and curser right arrow to highlight the lamp error #. Hit the enter button to clear the lamp errors. Now unplug the unit and let it sit for a minute and plug back in. I hope this corrects the problem. If the unit does not come on by doing this or if it does and you do not find lamp errors the power supply pcb may have been damaged by the surge.
